Theora hardware is running on LEON3!
...e with LEON3 is runinng!!! My video was too slow, then I discovered that the problem was on LINUX! I don't exactly, but I suppose that the time of LINUX Call systems (like fread()) is the problem. If I don't use the linux (like is done on NIOS), I can to decode much faster than the time of exibition! Now we have two points on software (the hardware is the same, LEON+Theora_hardware): [a] Theora on LINUX: we have a .ogg file that can be decoded on FPGA and shown on a monitor. But it can't be decoded in time of exibition. I suppose that the problem is the LINUX system call. http://www.s...

Problems With DAHDI on Ubuntu
I have 2 separate Asterisk servers that are both exibiting this problem. 1 has a 4 port FXO digium card, the other an 8 port. For some reason when the machine reboots, the dahdi drivers are not properly loaded. Then asterisk ends up starting without dahdi support. I've tried everything that I can think of, even to the point of running dahdi_cfg...

lattice graphics and source()
...n(){ x <- 1:10 y <- x^2 xyplot(y ~ x) } f() Then I run the program: > source("myprog.r") but nothing happens. Manully run f() at the command line: > f() then the figure is shown. This seems to be a bug only associated with lattice graphics, the old style plots do not exibit these behavior. Dongfeng Li

ATA not sending data to asterisk?
...place calls.... I can hear the asterisk system. The asterisk system does not seem to hear me. When I do a tcpdump I don't even see the ATA sending anything to the asterisk box (when I tcpdump on the network side of the ATA). I've tried 2 ATAs, and X-Lite on a mac and windows 2000.. all exibit the same issue on this setup. Any ideas? What would cause the ATA and Softphone to not send data (UDP streams) to the asterisk box?

fxp damages dmesg?
Motherboard ASUS CUSL2-C with 815EP chipset and two Intel 82559 Pro/100 Ethernet cards exibits the following. dmesg reports usual text only a few seconds after reboot. Later it displays a single line with a fragment of ipfw log, e.g. 167 213.131.11.152 in via fxp0 which seems to change with each new activity of ipfw. Files /var/log/dmesg.today and /var/log/dmesg.yesterday rotate daily as...

smbfs hang with moderate use
...he software accessing them hangs, if something was accessing it when the initial hang happens I have to kill -9 it. Then I killall smbmount, and umount -l the mount, and all is back to normal. I have tested this to/from different distro's/machines including Mandrake, Debian, and Gentoo. All exibited the same behavior. I am running a 2.6.x kernel on all machines used for testing I also tried using MS Windows XP as a server, and it seemed to run just fine. I was unable to get it to hang. This leads me to believe it may be samba that is causing the problems. Any ideas? Thanks,...

Samba Domain Controller + Router
...wever, is the fact that, from the Domain Controller's perspective, the router would be a single source (IP address) for multiple machines. Can it distinguish between those machines on the other side of the router? Can they, too, be browsed on the domain by the rest? Note also that the router exibits different behavior in different directions, and I can "invert" the direction if need be. Connections coming in on the WAN port must be forwarded by port number as specified ahead of time. Connections coming in on the LAN port, however, pretty much have free reign to go as they please an...

SMS and Megatec protocol Diffs
...comments: Are you saying the UPS raises the "OFF" flag when a timed shutdown command is sent to it, before actually shutting down? If so, that is a violation of the megatec protocol. The megatec version in the development trunk has an option "ignoreoff" to accomodate UPSes that exibit this behavior. > Know working SMS Models : > > SINUS Single : Only versions > Manager III : Only serial versions I'll add this to the compatibility list. > /* Known battery types must be in ascending order by "nominal" first, and then by "max". */ > -s...

de-essing into speex?
are there plans to add "de-essing" as part of the speexenc procedure, to make it possible to use lower quality compression without getting those horrible computer-like "ess" sounds in the finished result? like if you say "someone said the sun is shining", there is a lot of ess sounds, and these will sound "computer-ish" at vbr qualities below 9. i know

...s effective and more costly in a resource sense. It is a good idea, though I would consider a luxury filter, that's just me being overly assertive. || \/ If anyone is interested from my knowledge of speech recognition all human phonemes when converted from power vs. time to power vs. freq exibit 2 characteristic spikes. The primary spike defines the base for recognizing the phoneme and the next highest spikes relative location and power give a program a good probability match as to which phoneme it is. Humanizing spx audio derived solely from pure human voices could be accomplished by re...

PSTN->SIP->PSTN transfer problem
...until one of the phones hangs up. My current two suspects are the Cisco gateway that maybe does not support transfer, but version 12.2x code should do and the Ericsson that is not communicating correctly with the Cisco. As an aside, call forwarding from my Cisco 7960 to an Ericsson extension exibits the same behaviour, but that can be expected I suppose (??) Any ideas would me most welcome. ...age of quota used. Meanwhile, all output of the C program has been captured to a temp file to be displayed to the user via "smbclient" WinPopup message indicating they are approaching their limit if they meet or exceed 85%. My problem is this: It works wonderfully, except it seems to be exibiting a "root postexec" because I get a beep at logoff, and the next user sees the buffered WinPopup message from the previous user. I have *no* "root postexec" clause at all. Any help would be wonderful - I can't see it! Bill -- /-------------------------------...

Can you reproduce this bug on wine-20050930 like me?
Can you reproduce this bug? Follow these steps: 1. Install Filezilla: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/filezilla/FileZilla_2_2_16_setup.exe?download 2. FTP into the server of your choice 3. Click and drag files from the server to your local machine (to copy them) 4. How to still processing despite bug errors?
...pecific syntax to perform the Spectral Analysis and a loop to analyse all subjects. each subject data are in separate folders (P1, P2 P3...) My question is: in some cases, some errors can appear in one subject. I want to know if is possible to jump to the next subject and perform the same syntax , exibiting an error like: Working on P1 Error "X" in P1 Working on P2... The idea is to let the computer processing continuosly all the subjects and at the end only see the problems in the subjects that R could not perform the analysis. Each Subject takes 20 minutes to perform the analysis and...
