Hi! I'd like to provide shared mailboxes with maildir that should appear like 'Shared/<mailboxname>' to the clients. Using the namespace configuration below, everything works fine, exept one thing: Mail clients (only tested with Thunderbird) won't allow to put mails directly in 'Shared/mailboxname' (the folder it is greyed out). Hi guys ! I have a problem and I hope I can get some help here. I want to run a Samba server on a linux firewall machine. This firewall allowa all the udp pachets and also icmp. The firewall blocks all TCP incomming connection exept on port 22 (ssh). I have allowed incomming conection on 137, 138, and 139 (TCP) ports and I stiil get an error message from windows clients. The computer appears in the net but when I try to browse I get an error: "Network path not found !" I hope the windows machine is using only 13...

Hi, with the change in Samba 4.7 that ldap is now running multiple processes I'm having resource constraint issues. Before it was fine to run any number of clients against samba, but now the ldap clients are limited. My server quickly ran out of memory! 1) Is there any solution exept adding more RAM? 2) One process should be able to handle more than 1 connection! This is an archaic server side model .... Actually the same issue also happens with the RPC Server which under certain conditions was started up to 50 000 times on 4.5 (not sure that is fixed). BR Thomas

Hola! I just downloaded and installed the factory-fresh rw1081. Windows XP. In my Rprofile file in the \etc subdirectory I put (among others) options(continue=" ") options(width=65) options(scipen=5) options(show.signif.stars=FALSE) R is honoring all of this on startup, exept the width=65 option, which does'nt have any effect.
