Resolv.conf with multiple adaptors on multiple networks
Hi All, I did a clean install of CentOS 5.3 yesterday. During setup I activated both adapters on startup. etho is my public IP and eth1 is my private/internal IP. It did not let me specify nameservers though. So I know this is resolv.conf. I know I put in: nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx But how do I put in nameservers for specific networks? Example, I want my

Configuration tips? Thanks in advance. ........................................ Sean Brown Ethos Interactive, Inc. http://www.ethos-interactive.com mailto: sbrown@ethos-interactive.com

[LLVMdev] A new mechanism to compiler kernel modules using llvm: Defer type evaluation in clang?
...have no problem with embedded development environments. In my experience, linux server environments are orders of magnitude more complex than embedded environments. True linux kernel experts don't even use debuggers. Of course I wish you well with your efforts. But you need to fully grasp the ethos of the linux kernel development community, before you can succeed at such a goal. enjoy, Karen -- Karen Shaeffer Neuralscape, Mountain View, CA 94040

the case of building R snapshot without svn nor network connection.
...ince quite a few changes have been made to remove the capability of cross-compiling R for windows on unix hosts in the last few years. - testing dev snapshots is about trying things and fixing bugs before release. Making it difficult for non-core people to "try", seem to go against that ethos. If that's the case, maybe the repository could be closed off to anonymous check outs altogether, just to make it clear that testing snapshots before releases or even close to release, is not welcomed. Just a thought. - although the official repository of the "main" linux kernel bran...

Could someone email me with the code for glm.nb ?
Hi -- subject says all. I just want the code for that function, which I guess was in Venables and Ripley as early as 1994. Well, and for any of the sub-functions that glm.nb calls. I can't install the entire MASS library. If the code for just glm.nb (again, don't want to touch the MASS library, last time I tried to install it was a complete nightmare and fiasco) is somewhere on a

[RFC v1 0/8] vhost-vdpa: add support for iommufd
...always trying to convince people to post RFCs early instead of working for months behind closed doors only to be told to rewrite everything in Rust. Why does it have to be internal to a specific company? I see Yi Liu from Intel is helping Cindy get it into shape and that's classic open source ethos. I know some subsystems ignore the RFC tag but I didn't realize iommu is one of these. Is that really true? -- MST
