Hi,
I have 8 ethernet cards installed. Is it possible to use eth0-eth6 as the net interface for shorewall and eth1 as the lan network? Thanks.

[Bridge] The problem of bridge+netfilter+nat
Hi,
I met a problem when using bridge with netfilter. The kernel version
2.4.20, and the patch is bridge-nf-0.0.10-against-2.4.20.diff.
Our firewall configuration is as follows,
eth3,eth4,eth5,eth6 configured as a bridge with an IP address 10.0.0.1.
The local net connect to the internet via the gateway 10.0.0.1 and SNAT
is applied on the firewall. It worked but sometimes there are some
problems. The bridge stopped resonse now and there. When checking the
log there were some messages as belo...

Someone in this thread: https://sourceforge.net/p/e1000/bugs/530/#2855
reported that *"With these kernels I was only able to work around the
issue by disabling tx-checksumming offload with ethtool."*
However, that was reported for Kernels 4.2.6 / 4.2.8...

I don't have ifcfg-eth1 in my /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts. But when
I do ifconfig eth1 I can see output as below. If I do ifconfig eth12 ,
I don't see anything which i am assume is normal.

sar -n DEV does not show bonded interfaces
Anyone know how to get statistics on bonded interfaces? I have a
system that does not use eth0-3, rather we have bond0, bond1, bond2.
The members of each bond are not eth0-3, rather they are eth6, eth7,
etc. I didn't see anything in the man page about forcing sar to
collect data on specific network interfaces.
