MCP55 SATA data corruption in FreeBSD 7
....freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=kern/121396). If someone else is having data corruption problems with drives connected to an MCP55 controller it might be worth testing if limiting the drives to SATA-150 makes a difference. It will most likely take me a while before I can verify this. --- Daniel Eriksson (http://www.toomuchdata.com/)

Systemd debug logging turned on in CentOS 7
Hi, I noticed that some, but not all, of my CentOS 7 machines have these kernel parameters for turning on systemd debug level logging added to the grub.cfg file. systemd.log_level=debug systemd.log_target=kmsg The parameters are *not* in the /etc/default/grub file, so if I rebuild grub.cfg with grub2-mkconfig, they disappear. I am a bit puzzled over how they got introduced. Has anyone else

Problem joing a W2KSP1 client to a Samba PDC (2.2.5).
Hi, I'am running a small samba server at work with 10+ users in the domain (all of them added with W2KSP1 and 2.2.3 or 2.2.4). I uppgraded to 2.2.5 a while back and has not experienced any problem with it, but when I try to add a newly installed W2KSP1 client to the domain I get the following entries in the log file: Sep 10 13:29:55 linus smbd[17681]: [2002/09/10 13:29:55, 0]

[LLVMdev] ScheduleDAGInstrs.cpp
Hi, Can anyone help me to understand the ScheduleDAGInstrs::buildSchedGraph() method? I find the handling of AliasChain is disturbing since: 1. A new alias chain add deps to all possibly aliasing SUs, and then clears those lists. 2. When AliasChain is present, the addChainDependency() method is called, but the target hook areMemAccessesTriviallyDisjoint() called inside

I guess the Ext2 compability is one large factor for using Ext3, but otherwise? _____________________________________________________ | Martin Eriksson <nitrax@giron.wox.org> | MSc CSE student, department of Computing Science | Umeå University, Sweden
