cameras and CentOS
Hi
I want to put up a few cameras connected to a CentOS box.
I currently have a box with one camera and that works (USB),
I can take a pic (the script does that) and see that on a webpage.
However, I want to have a couple of cameras a little further
away (more than 5 meters).
USB has a limit, I have tried that camera with a longer cable
and it does not work ... so I need to route that in a

Fair queueing: SFQ vs TBF
Hello,
I have one Q. What is better when using as leaf in one leaf with
several hosts (like subnet) to splice traffic equaly to user number?
Like 2 users = 256/2, 3 = 256/3 and so on. WRR was pretty good for this
job, but it''s only for 2.4.21 kernels and mine''s 2.4.22.
So what is better: SFQ or TBF?

smbfs: file link permission
Hi,
i've mounted a WinNT4 share with smbmount 2.0.5a (Linux 2.2.13). All works fine:
authentification via username & domain, even file creation, but somehow i get an
error when i'm trying to create a file link with "ln" (equaly soft- or hard
link): "ln: cannot create symbolic link: Operation not permitted." I've set the
create modes and masks to 777 but it

unknown tag type 64 / recycle: stat for *:AFP_AfpInfo returned No such file or directory
Hi,
something seems wrong with "vfs objects = recycle, streams_xattr". I
permanently keep on getting the following errors on the Samba server:

[LLVMdev] proposal to avoid zlib dependency.
I also want to point out that there is prior art for bundling these types
of single-source-file utility libraries in lib/Support. We have MD5.cpp,
ConvertUTF.cpp, and reg*.c implementing various bits of functionality.
Adding a miniz.c doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

kernel: locore.s doesn't assemble (fillkpt, $PAGE_SHIFT, $PTESHIFT)
since august 8th, 2003 the kernel on my i386 pentiumIII won't compile.
the problem arises in locore.s with the definition of the constants
$PAGE_SHIFT and $PTESHIFT used in `shr' and `shl' instructions within
the macros `fillkpt' and `fillkptphys'.
i've tried to cvsup(1) RELENG_4 and RELENG_4_8 every day for over a
week now, but kernel builds (as part of a buildworld)

Monty on holiday
Hi folks,
My wife and I are taking a long weekend to celibrate our anniversary. I won't
be around again until Wednesday to answer email or do anything else on Vorbis.
Yeah, I know, I usually answer my email once a month anyway (so likely no one
would notice me being gone), but just so folks know if anything really juicy
comes up :-)
I'll be merging my latest branch with mainline

Very simple loop
I'm very new to R and am trying to create my first loop.
I have:
x <-c(0:200)
A <- dpois(x,exp(4.5355343))
B <- dpois(x,exp(4.5355343 + 0.0118638))
C <- dpois(x,exp(4.5355343 -0.0234615))
D <- dpois(x,exp(4.5355343 + 0.0316557))
E <- dpois(x,exp(4.5355343 + 0.0004716))
F <- dpois(x,exp(4.5355343 + 0.056437))
G <- dpois(x,exp(4.5355343 + 0.1225822))

HTB: far unequal behaivor at a slight conf rate change
Hi all!
I''m working in a " _really_ end user simple", yet powerfull, flexible,
scalable, GPL htb/htb-init front end, but now, in the "test fase" im facing
an utlimate problem...
Absoult minimalistic scenario: #Use a FIXEDFONT to read this
#inet-ethx-|FIREWALL|-lan-ethx <-> |client_host_1|
#
#FIREWALL class(rate,ceil) at lan-ethx
