Configuring Samba
I am still having some troubles getting samba to work.
I have installed samba and it seems to be fine from the server point of
view. However, my client can see the server in the Network neighborhood,
but I get network path not found.
The server and the client are on different sub-nets.
Both the client and the server are using DNS to resolve names. Both are
resolvable. They use FTP between

File permissions problem
Hi All,
I was hoping someone can help me with a small problem. I have a 5 user
Samba network running on Red Hat 6. One user is set up to have root
equivalence but he only has read-only access to files created by other users
(its also fair to say that the other users only have read-only access to
each others files). I have tried messing around with the Linux permissions
