Can anyone compile mtr source RPM on CentOS 6.7?
...t; okay looks like you've uncovered an bug in mock that should be reported in EPEL https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Fedora%20EPEL&version=el6&component=mock I don't see any existing bug that would seem to apply ... You can see the build completes with a target of epel6 on an F23 install but a clean C6 install that uses the mock from epel6 fails: http://pastebin.centos.org/41116/ Can't see anything that differs in the output from that to explain why the Makefile isn't regenerated on the epel6 mock unlike the F23 one. Right now I don't have time to l...

lxde
Hi all, anyone know when lxde will be available for centos? Fedora lxde was nice but its end of life is far to short for a server. Thanks Gary.

How to install tp_smapi and acpi_call kernel modules
Hello, I've got a Thinkpad T420 and would like to use full tlp functionality. Therefore I need the kernel module tp_smapi and acpi_call. Have a look right here: http://linrunner.de/en/tlp/docs/tlp-linux-advanced-power-management.html#installation There are only fedora related packages but none for RHEL/CentOS. Should I install that repo and hardcode the mirror to the fc21 repo? Regards Tim

Looking for DirectFB 1.4.11 RPMs for 32-bit CentOS 6
Our current build process requires the directfb-1.4.11-3.el6.i686.rpm and directfb-devel-1.4.11-3.el6.i686.rpm packages, but they appear to be no longer available from the EPEL repo, and I can?t find them anywhere else either. If you have a local copy, or can point me to some other repo or web site that has these 2 RPMs, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Alfred

augeas, rhel6, setm
It turns out augeas on RHEL6 is 0.7.2, which does not have ''setm'' command available. ''setm'' is available in augeas release 0.8, which is available in EPEL, but not available for RHEL6 (the reason is the package is already in RHEL6, thus no package would be released in EPEL for this. All I want to do is to put console=ttyS0 on all kernel lines in /etc/grub.conf.
