Samba lock up under Solaris 2.5.1
...loaded Samba server (running 1.9.18p10 under Solaris
2.5.1) we have got occaisional meltdowns with load average rocketing to 100+.
The evidence indicates lots of smbd processes running. Syslogs indicate lots
of:

Event.observe problem
Hello there, i have a textbox, i fill the textbox with a date from a
javascript popup calendar, im using the like this
Event.observe(''myTextBoxId'', ''change'', function(){ alert(''epale!'');});
and is not working, if i put the alert inside the input element in the
onchange attribute it works, is that a prototype bug?

Centos 6.3 - which repos to use?

I could just install from pkgs.org/centos-6 it would seem? Point is
the repos are maintained by an expert rather than folk just
downloading.
I was then confused further by this

One needs to add epal and rpmforge just for abiword? Surely the
dependencies would be in the same repo
I'm sure all is quite simple really but i'd be grateful for the
guidance before i mess up an installation.
