AW: AW: AW: AW: Activate ingress policies on suse enterpr ise serv er 9
Hi,
So far, if have understand correctly: I route the incoming tcpip message of
port 8099 directly to 8080 and then the ingress filter on port 8099 has
nothing to do!?
Yes I think on different interface on one machine (different Ports for
different Request, with different restriction).
What has exactly to be done to set the policier before Prerouting!
Which kernel options, or also extra

One of the promises of virtualization is better resource utilization.
People tend to avoid purchasing VMs so much oversized that they never
touch a significant amount of their RAM. (Well, at least this is how
things stand in hosting market; I guess enterprize market is similar in
this regard).
That said, I'm not at all opposed to optimizing the migration of free
memory; what I'm trying to say is that creating brand new infrastructure
specifically for that case doesn't look justified when the existing one
can cover it in addition to much mor...

Is Mongrel dead?
Is Mongrel dead? When I look at http://mongrel.rubyforge.org/wiki/News
the latest news was from close to a year ago, when last version of
Mongrel was released. A look at the tickets shows a rather sad picture
with only two developers “evanweaver” and “luislavena” contributing to
the bug fixes lately.
Please understand that I am not complaining – I just want to know the
situation so that I can

QuickBooks Installation Failure
I have a Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) PC running Wine 1.0-rc4 and am attempting to install QuickBooks Premier 2007 for a customer who hates Vista and will switch to Linux if I can get this to work.
However, the install program keeps failing. QuickBooks insists on having .NetFrame 1.1 installed but always fails when it tries to install it. So, I did a rm -rf ~/.wine to start fresh and then installed
