Hi, I am using wxRuby 1.9.7 and Ruby 1.8.6. I have built an extension in C++ and used swig to load it into Ruby interpreter, which works great. The extension is an often long executing algorithm, and I''ve noticed that if I fork a new Ruby thread in button clicked event, and in this thread run the algorithm the application freezes for the time of execution. Right now the system is not announcing the extension that the caller attempted to dial, so callers get confused when they think they dialed a valid extension but asterisk didn't pick everything up. I would like to have the system announce the entension that they attempted to dial in addition to the error message. However, at the part where the error announcement is made, the extension is set to "i", so I no longer know what digits the caller dialed. I tried inserting a wildcard extension before this point that saves the dialed digits...

...using Realtime to select extensions out of a database so that we can provision inbound tollfree on the fly. Once I 'catch' the inbound, I want to "get out" of realtime and use the regular extensions again. I have a te405p in the system, Zap/g1 is connected to the telco as an ISDN 30, Zap/g4 is connected by ISDN Primary Rate to an Ericcson BP250 phone system. If you comment the mhash.so in /usr/local/etc/php/extensions.ini as: ;entension=mhash.so all works fine and you don't get anymore httpd crash (signal 11) if you use 'apachectl graceful'.
