u32 nexthdr problem
I''m having trouble with nexthdr.
tc filter add dev eth0 protocol ip parent 10:0 prio 1 u32 \
match ip protocol 0x6 0xff match u8 0x02 0x12 at nexthdr+13 flowid 10:3
fails to match my test packets whereas
tc filter add dev eth0 protocol ip parent 10:0 prio 1 u32 \
match ip protocol 0x6 0xff match u8 0x02 0x12 at 33 flowid 10:3
does match them.
Of course, the second one is really wrong

hunting knife to make em)
When i rip it i don't get any errors (with CDex to) but of course when i
listen to it i hear them.
This is strange bceause

[Flac-users] Settings to get the best compression
What are the settings that will give the absolute best compression?
It doesn't have to stream, and encodeing speed is not a factor.
I also don't care how long it will take to encode.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

OGG --> MP3 conversion app?
hello all
does anyone know of a utility convert OGG to MP3 and prehapes MP3 to OGG?
While i use ogg for everything on my computer, my discman only plays MP3
files, so a nice program where i can drag and drop folders to reencode
to MP3 would be a very nice thing to have indeed. Kinda like oggdrop but
mp3drop.
if there isn't i might just attempt to write one (i'm just 1st year

[Flac-users] [Flac-dev] Support in Exact Audio Copy?
Yep, they make a great combo.
you only need to change compression settings to:
user defined encoder
extension: .flac
You path to flac encoder
and the command line, i use:
-o %d -8 -V --lax --no-padding -T TITLE="%t" -T ARTIST="%a" -T
ALBUM="%g" -T TRACKNUMBER=%n -T GENRE="%m" -T DATE="%y" -T COMMENT="EAC
0.95pb3 & FLAC 1.1.0" %s

Encoding Options
for the "best" compression:
--super-secret-totally-impractical-compression-level
takes forever on my system (athlon 2500+) and sometimes results in
larger files. so i just stick with -8 -V --lax --no-padding.
-V to ensure the encode was vail
--no-padding to save a few more bytes, as "The encoder writes a PADDING
block of 4096 bytes by default." though 4kb over 3000 tracks

Problems with encodeing
Hello all, i've been haveing problems with oggenc on windows 2k.
When i encode WAV files sometimes it started to choke, just oggenc, not
the os.
It startes freezeing for seconds and then every so often goes up by .10
% or something...
the project time remaining is something like 20min at 3% for a 3 min wav.
I've been useing it for a while and it only just started, before this it

OGG -> WAV -> OGG?
Now i know that MP3->OGG is a bad thing. But What about OGG->WAV->OGG? i'd
expect there might be some quality loss but would it be as bad as MP3->OGG?
