Anybody know a way to enlarge a filesystem ext3 without having to unmounted it, when they are still space left in the volume group (when using LVM) ? I will be running large production linux system running Oracle. I can't stop the database everytime I have to enlarge a filesystem. We can do it with all others filesystems (JFS, REISERSFS and XFS) when they are created in a volume group. Why

The optimal amound may be card/system-dependent, so a more sophisticated approach may be preferable. In particular, if RAMIN is less than 1MB, a 512MB aperture won't fit. Hi all, I need to enlarge te fonts used oo R-plots (plots, histograms, ...) in labels and titles etc. I seem to be unable to figure out how to do it. The problem is that the titles of the plots are simply unreadable when I insert them into my LaTeX text, since they are relatively small compared to the entire plot. Hi, I just resized the disk image of a virtual machine by following the recommended virt-resize procedure. The enlarged disk is working fine, and the size is correctly detected and used in the virtual machine. But "virsh vol-info /path/to/imagefile" still shows the old size and allocation. A sensible package policy in extras/plus repo will mean fewer temptations to install 3rd party repo's that can break your system. I sniffed the plain communication and the "a0000 AUTHENTICATE GSSAPI" line has around 1873 chars. When I enlarged the LOGIN_MAX_INBUF_SIZE to 2048 the problem disappeared and I'm now able to login to dovecot using gssapi in mutt client.
