Configs not loading
Hi,
So in the past I''ve developed using Apache 2.0 MacOSX. I''ve just started a
new project and decided to switch over to LightTPD just to try it out. This
development is purely a learning endevor for me, so I welcome the idea of
stepping into new territory. As a result, I''m not sure if this is a
lighttpd problem or a Rails one. So pardon me if this is off topic to this
mailing list.
On apache, everytime I made a new request, my environments.rb file would be
reloaded. So once I...

...ot been on the list for month''s. Because I just lost my wife to
breast cancer last week. I came on here to ask a question
and became sad once again to see that Tom threw in the towel. Shorewall is
the only thing that I could say does not die.
I started using seawall, Tom''s first endevor into firewall''s back when he
got dsl. and have used shorewall since.
I wish Tom the best.
Thank you Tom

Tiger team.
Hi,
I''m back. :-)
Alex and a few others have expressed concerns about the legal
implications of forming a tiger team. Maybe the term "tiger team"
doesn''t officially represent what we meant. But I don''t mind
redefining established terms if I feel like it :-)
What we here call a "tiger team" is a team of people that try to beat
the bad guys to

Samba 3.0 Alpha
Does net rpc join work in SAMBA (using HEAD from CVS compiled this morning)
Configured with ACL, with PAM, and with WINBIND.
It seems that I cannot rejoin my domain (PDC is NT4sp6a) after I turfed
machine.sid and secrets.tdb. I tried using smbpasswd first and was informed
to use net join rpc instead.
Logs available if needed.
Thanx

How many (htb) tc classes and qdiscs are too many?
We have a Linux box that is acting as the gateway to the internet for about
400 people, typically there are not more then 50 of them using the internet
at any given time. We would like to provide different levels of access to
different users. For example 128kbps to some users and 256kbps to others.
We have considered creating a class and qdisc for each user (using htb)
however we don''t
