I'm running a four-group, 15-variable discriminant analysis using the MASS function lda(). Discriminant functions 1 and 2 explain about 93% of the variance. I would like to plot the group scatters in a single scatterplot, identify each group's centroid, and encircle the group scatter with a 90% bivariate confidence ellipse. I can do this for each group on a separate plot, but I cannot figure out how to place all information on a single plot. In S-Plus I use trellis graphics with panel.superpose as a trellis option. Hi, I am running rsync on MacOS 10.3 and I want to transfer files to a linux machine, which has linux partitions and fat32 partitions. Transfering the files to the linux partition works without problems, but if I transfer them to the fat32 partition, files are ignored if all characters in the file name are UPPER CASE. - The files which rsync should transfer do not exist in the target directory.

Any idea what the problem could be? Is there anything more i could do to encircle the problem? Or perhaps is the information i provided uncomplete? Greetings, I am curious, I see quite a few references to using TextMate for rails development. I downloaded TextMate and used it for 30 days. I do not see what everyone is raving about. Snipplets are nice, but other editors do the same thing, some with much more power. Can anyone tell me what makes people draw to TextMate? Maybe I am missing the whole reason, I''d really like to
