Eleven??
I was poking around in the Gentoo Linux repository yesterday, trying to
satisfy my curiosity about how many programming languages there are in
"common use" today. I found one called "Eleven" which is quite strangely
similar in intent to Rails. The home page is
http://eleven.sourceforge.net/.
Eleven is much simpler than Rails, and there are some interesting ideas
in it. To quote the web page:
"Eleven is a programming language for creating reliable, scalable web

What does it mean to be "masked from data" when attaching? (Newbie question)
I have several data frames, each with six variables and several hundred
cases broken out from a larger dataframe by eleven values of a factor
called "Division". I have to perform the same analysis on each one. I
would like to do it by creating a data frame called data2 eleven times,
once with data corresponding to each value of the factor, and performing
the same analysis on each of the eleven values of dat...

6 different games share 3 different bugs
Here is the situation. There are six different soccer games, developed by Konami, all straight ports from Playstation 2. These are the following:
Pro Evolution Soccer 4 (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=2750) (PES4)
Winning Eleven 8 (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=5152) (american version of PES4)
Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=3056) (PES5)

Hello folks,
I'm working with those Soccer games.
Just to know, Did you play those games with Wine ?. I saw there's no
much information given in Google nor in any wine related sites.
A great game for football lovers, but a pity if you need to work with
it using PS2 or another OS.
Thanks in advance,
Juan.

Two matrix loop
...efficiency issues with my efforts. Plz have a look at this:
donor <- matrix(c(3,1,2,3,3,1,4,3,5,1,3,2), ncol=4)
receiver <-
matrix(c(1,4,3,2,4,3,1,5,1,3,2,1,4,5,3,5,1,3,2,4,5,1,2,3,1,4,5,5,1,2,1,3,4,3,2,5,5,1,4,2,5,4,3,2), ncol=4)
The above creates my two matrices. I have three donors, and eleven receivers (rows), with four
measures (columns) in each matrix.
And now, I want to apply the daisy() function from the cluster library, to calculate distances between my
three donors, and eleven receivers. The end result should be a 11x3 matrix with distances between the
units from the two matri...

Receptionist SNOM-360
...,
I got an Asterisk with 2 BRI(7 pstn numbers and 4 concurrent calls)
and 15 SIP extensions.
The receptionist has a SNOM-360.
How many SIP accounts would you configure on that phone?
Only one would be enough?
One SIP account, has a limit on concurrent calls?
I saw that the SNOM-360 can handle up to eleven SIP accounts.
Thanks

Who's eating our bandwidth?
Hi,
I've recently setup a new server for our public libraries. For the last
two years, this has been my first "big" job, since it involves
networking eleven small to medium size public libraries.
There was a hiccup some time ago when the administration hiring me
wanted to do it on their own, but it took them less than two weeks to
get the server hacked and lose everything. So they decided to hire me
back :o)
I've rented a little dedicated serv...

Handle missing values
...y temperatures and my data are 14 columns
with spatial coordinates (lat, lon) and 12 monthly values:
/lat - lon - temp1 - //temp2 - temp3 - .... - //temp12/
If I omit missing values (my missing values are 99.00) with
/mydata <- na.omit(mydata)/
every row with a missing value (i.e. eleven good temperature values and
one month missing) is deleted. I would like to retain all valid values
for the k-means analysis but excluding.
I've been trying and searching about na.omit, na.action, na.exclude but
can't find the right point.
Any help would be appreciated.

Here are listings of two files on the remote host to show that uploading

How to calculate the AUC in R
...s,
I'm working in an experiment that try to determine the degree of
infection of different clones of a fungus and, one of the measures we
use to determine these degree is the counting of antibodies in the
plasma at different dilutions, in this experiment the maximum number of
dilutions was eleven. I already checked for differences on the maximum
concentration of the antibodies in function of each clone of the fungus.
However one measure of interest is the area under the curve (AUC) for
the counting of antibodies in function of dilution. Unfortunately I

boxplot subsets
Hello,
I am a new user to R and have a(proabably very basic) question relating to
a boxplot with eleven sites in a river system where i measured Chlorophyll a
concentrations.
The eleven sites are made up of three sites above a point source pollution
site; three sites below this pollution source and five sites in a different
unaffected river.
The following code is for a simple plot of the data
