New user trying to install registry
The documentation says ... if you want to install it manually, you can do so by using the regapi tool to be found in the programs/regapi/ directory in Wine source. So if you have installed WINE from an rpm, how do you install the registry? Thanks, SJR -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Creating an ext3 device
Is there a way to create an ext3 filesystem (such as mke2fs will create an ext2 filesystem)? Is there a way to convert a vfat or ext2 filesystem to ext3? Thanks! SJR

Really basic question about compiling WINE
I am an intermediate Linux user. I dual boot into Redhat 7.3 and Windows ME. Wine and audio
I am new to Wine and have a broad question. I'm primarily interested in audio. I know that audio can be one of the more difficult aspects of development, at least partly due to real-time issues. Now, for the question: Is there much going on with Wine and audio? E.g., using a SBLive!, should getting a program that records to work be overly difficult, is it being done all the time, or

Wine novice question
The windose application I am trying to run bombs with the following error box. unknown has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created. OK I can't find the alleged "error log." Any ideas where it may be? Thanks, SJr

Printing in Wine
So if Wine doesn't use Windows print drivers, if there is no Linux driver for my printer, I guess that means there's no way I can get Wine to print in Linux. (Stupid question, but I've been trying to find a work-around for the fact my Lexmark X125 has no Linux driver.) SJR
