I finally found my old notes on this re: helping out a blind friend fix his
centos box...
log in as root
cd /usr/share/timezone
cd /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/
cp Los_Angeles /etc/localtime
/usr/bin/rdate -s time.nist.gov
/sbin/hwclock --systohc

...h I notice, maybe which it's normal, but the background desktop goes blanks to say, Blue color, as if to be switching, as of course cause I'm using at the moment - the Wine internet explorer.
Why, say this/that of Wine - also cause I want to gain 'Camfrog' program - Re: http://www.ehow.com/how_5628996_use-camfrog-linux-ubuntu.html. Which though I can appreciate other's hard work with sharing, I don't understand how to make it work. And under Wine, what about internet explorer - tool otion's, or even control panel, misc, you know. Alittle confusing, having this Wine? -...

Rsync/SSH automation problem?
Hi All,
I have a win2k3 server that its backing up to a CentOS 5.3 server. On
the Win2k3 machine I plan to have rsync back up nightly to the CentOS
server through ssh. The command I am using is as follows:
rsync -vrPtz -e ssh myuser at myserver:/remote/backup/folder/ /local/backup/folder/
This all works great for the inital test except its prompts me for a
password for "myuser" (as
