[PATCH] EHCI/Xen: propagate controller reset information to hypervisor

[PATCH, v3] fix build with XEN and EARLY_PRINTK_DBGP enabled but USB_SUPPORT disabled

kern/55094: Intel USB 2.0 unrecognized (partial patch provided)
Saw your post on -stable about this, and decided to take a look since I'm about to get my hands on a similar (82801DB) motherboard. If it's the USB 2.0 controller that's isn't being detected, shouldn't ehci by patched instead of uhci...? You may want to give the attached, completely untested, patch a try. I.e. it compiles on my box, but I don't have any hardware to actually test it on yet. Might theoretically work depending on how closely Intel followed the EHCI spec. Note that the patch i...

Tripplite OmniPlus1000LCD Problem on VIA system
I have two computers running Ubuntu 8.04 with all updates. One with EHCI and OHCI host controllers recognizes my Tripplite OmniPlus1000LCD UPS, but the other (VIA chipset) with EHCI and UHCI does not. When I compiled the kernel with USB debugging enabled, I could see that the handoff from EHCI to the low speed UHCI controller was failing leading to endless looping...

ehci dbgp reset during boot?
Jan (or others), I'm seeing an issue with the EHCI debug port functionality, that I'm wondering whether it is a known limitation of the hardware, or if this is a bug. On a particular system that I had limited debug capabilities in the past (Dell Inspiron 15 i3) I am seeing the debug messages abruptly stop during boot, followed by garbage that...

Unable to boot Dom0 from external hard disk in snv_b81
Hi All, I installed snv_b81 in my portable hard disk(capacity 160gb with 2 partitions, one for solaris and other for windows). Specifying a USB Device to use USB2 Controller
Hi all, Can anyone please advise the correct process for defining a USB device to point to a USB 2 Controller? Specifically, how do you define a USB device to use the EHCI controller in a guest xml file? To summarize my problem: I have 1 x USB1 device and 1 x USB2 device that I would like to use from within a Windows XP Guest. If I add the USB2 device (Avid M-box) to the guest machine via Virt-Manager it will not detect in the guest, when I check the libvirt logs f...

"Communications with UPS advice@localhost lost" when using an other USB device
I use Debian jessie with nut-server 2.7.2-1+b3. Yesterday I've configured it for my new Advice PRS850 (a UPS with USB interface). I also have an USB webcam (and also USB mouse and keyboard, but that doesn't matter). When I start the program Cheese (a program which uses the webcam), I receive the following broadcast message: "Communications with UPS advice at localhost lost"
