[PATCH] Increase MAX_SKBUFF_ORDER
Hi,
The recent (changeset 7700) switch to use the architecture
specific skbuff allocation routine breaks with very large MTU sizes.
The below patch raises the MAX_SKBUFF_ORDER to 3. Could this be
applied to make it the default?
Thanks,
Phil

Get your SXCE on ZFS here!
With the release of the Nevada build 90 binaries, it is now possible to install SXCE directly onto a ZFS root filesystem, and also put ZFS swap onto a ZFS filesystem without worrying about having it deadlock. ZFS now also supports crash dumps!
To install SXCE to a ZFS root, simply use the text-based installer, after choosing "Solaris Express" from the boot menu on the DVD.

Are there (non-Sun/Oracle) vendors selling OpenSolaris/ZFS based NAS Hardware?
I''ve seen the Nexenta and EON webpages, but I''m not looking to build my own.
Is there anything out there I can just buy?

[PATCH] Support for official xvd major number
LANANA has officially assigned the block major of 202 for xvd devices
(http://www.lanana.org/docs/device-list/devices-2.6+.txt). Take
advantage of knowing this so people don''t have to do the mknod on their
system. Also, fix up the scsi regex to get sda correct without having
to do hacks like sda0.

Preferred backup s/w
Hi all,
What is the current preferred method for backing up ZFS data pools,
preferably using free ($0.00) software, and assuming that access to
individual files (a la ufsbackup/ufsrestore) is required?
TIA,

Drivers for IBM ServeRAID 7k in Nevada?
IBM''s website says that Solaris 10u1 has them built in, Shouldn''t that
mean they are in sNV too?
I''m booting off the network and off DVD, and just before the installer
starts I get a message about ''no disks found.''
Format does the same thing.
What driver module should be used for the ServeRAID 7k.
I did use the ServeRAID Support CD to define the

Can a domU app determine its own domain ID
Can an app running on a domU determine the domU''s domain ID? I''m thinking of a scenario where an app might want to auto-generate a unique IP address keyed off its domain ID.
Thanks,

ZFS attributes for CIFS.
Hi all,
I''m setting up a new fileserver, and while I''m not planning on enabling
CIFS right away, I know I will in the future.
I know there are several ZFS properties or attributes that affect how
CIFS behaves. I seem to recall that at least one of those needs to be
set early (like when the filesystem [or pool?] is created?
Which properties might those be?
Where can I find
