Samba & CUPS: only banner-page gets printed
...instruct CUPS to add a banner-page. The banner-page then is the only thing that gets printed. Doing the same from Linux everything works fine. I get my job including a banner-page. The Windows-printjob is passed raw from Samba to CUPS... Anyone has an idea? Best, Johannes -- Ing. Winbind, still unreliable
...D-DUS domain after some time. I didn't see traces in the logs. I tried samba-3.0.7 rpms from suse and sernet. Linux Distribution is Suse Prof. 9.0. Anyone had the same behaviour? Slowly get it ... Hardware
...alog and digital devices ? For analog devices it looks as I need T1 interfaces and channel banks. Is that ok ? What hardware is recommended ? And how can I connect ISDN (digital) equipment ? Frequent crashes - drives me nuts .....
...logs in to the Workgroup. It's strange that the system runs rock solid during the day and always dies in the morning. Does anyone have a clue where to look for that problem or has experienced something similar ? ...er. I could locate the machine which is sending the UDP messages. And we will check what happens when that machine is down tomorrow. But anyway, does anyone has a clue what these unknown UDP message codes may be? get_share_modes problem
I have samba 2.0.5a running on Openserver 5.0.5 with the latest patches installed. I got this specific version from Skunkware (SCO's distribution of Open Source binary packages). AFAIK, they make no changes to the actual source. I have no problems with using samba for name service and printing, however with file sharing I am having some strange problems.
