Samba & CUPS: only banner-page gets printed
...instruct CUPS to add
a banner-page. The banner-page then is the only thing that gets printed.
Doing the same from Linux everything works fine. I get my job including
a banner-page.
The Windows-printjob is passed raw from Samba to CUPS...
Anyone has an idea?
Best,
Johannes

I didn't see traces in the logs.
I tried samba-3.0.7 rpms from suse and sernet. Linux Distribution is
Suse Prof. 9.0.
Anyone had the same behaviour? Anyone a clue what's going on?

What hardware is recommended ?
And how can I connect ISDN (digital) equipment ? Is there a way to

Frequent crashes - drives me nuts .....

It's strange that the system runs rock solid during the day and always
dies in the morning.
Does anyone have a clue where to look for that problem or has
experienced something similar ?

Weird samba problems .....
...er.
I could locate the machine which is sending the UDP messages. And we
will check what happens when that machine is down tomorrow.
But anyway, does anyone has a clue what these unknown UDP message codes
may be?
Thanks a lot

get_share_modes problem
I have samba 2.0.5a running on Openserver 5.0.5 with the latest patches
installed. I got this specific version from Skunkware (SCO's
distribution of Open Source binary packages). AFAIK, they make no changes
to the actual source. I have no problems with using samba for name
service and printing, however with file sharing I am having some strange
problems. I sporadically get problems like

[LLVMdev] TableGen target description file change
This is just a note for people who have targets that are not in the main
LLVM tree. I just checked in a patch (contributed by Jason Eckhardt) that
makes the following changes:
1. The 'Register' tablegen class now requires a register name to be
specified as an argument for the register. If you had this:
def FP0 : Register;
before, change it to:
def FP0 : Register<"FP0">;
2. The RegisterAliases tableg...

This won't solve your problem, but I just ran some tests copying a large file from
NT to FreeBSD2.2.6 and back, w/o any sign of
