Hi all, does anybody has ran echocancellation successfully on windows ? I have a problem playing audio there. If you play a wav file no mater how I play it after comparing the captured data with the original file there is always difference in the audio length (for 18 sec of audio there is more than 250 ms of difference). Which of course breaks echocancellation. I've tried playing the audio

I have a ISDN BRI card with hisax module (w6692) and there is a lot of echo when I make calls to outside. Between the sip softphones the echo doesn't exist, but when I call to outside through the ISDN the echo exist. Dear, I always had one E1 card with one span, so I've never had any problem in set it up through /etc/dahdi/sustem.conf and /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf because I put span=1. But now I have a PBX with two E1 cards with 4 span (8 span in total). How do I have to define both card in system.conf and chan_dahdi.conf, and how do I have to refer each span to the corresponding card ??? Thanks a

Hello, We have an asterisk setup at our client's site using a TE205P. The line to telco is a 23 channels T1 PRI, however the line has random echo problems (about 5-10% of the calls)! Can anybody tell me if echo cancellation is really needed even at a T1 PRI to the telco? Because people keep saying when they deploy voip solution in Hong Kong using T1 PRI, there is no need of echo cancellation.

They are all in a group to do automatic rollover for outgoing calls (if channel 25 is being used, dial on channel 26, etc.).
