Nagios/measurement with Asterisk - any plugins?
I have spent some time digging through the archives for comments
concerning Asterisk and monitoring systems, and I have found few
results.
check_asterisk.pl.gz (http://www.dynx.net/ASTERISK/misc-progs/) which
gives an error on download, and has no further Google references
astping.tar (http://www.dynx.net/ASTERISK/misc-progs/ and also in the
mailing list archives) supposedly sends a query to an Asterisk
server, but I have been unable to get it to do anything other tha...

I just retrieved and compiled the latest CVS this morning, as well as the latest AGI perl module. Why won't the AGI->get_data() function work correctly?

Agent Status on FOP
The hype and documentation for the last couple of releases of the Flash
Operator Panel claim that the Panel can be configured to either change the LED
for a phone, or the name of a phone to indicate when that phone is logged into
a queue. I've tried on two different versions (0.18 and 0.19) on two
different systems to get this feature to work, and have been completely
unsuccessful. Any hints

Queue/Agents problem with 1 agent
Hello. I've got 1 queue setup with 2 possible agents. Agent 1 is logged in
and awaiting a call via AgentCallback. Agent 2 has not logged in. An
outsider (caller A) calls in and is placed in the queue, cytelcs. Agent 1's
phone rings and Agent1 and A talk.
While they are talking, caller B calls in. Caller B is correctly placed in
the queue and hears music, however this shows up in asterisk

AgentLogin
Hi,
We recently installed asterisk too replace our office PABX, however we
are finding it hard to get documentation on the way Agents login.
In the agents.conf we have setup a user of agent => 1003,4444,Test. In
the extentions.conf file we have added in exten => 9,1,AgentLogin.
We can dial 9 and key in the uid and password which logs us in. The
asterisk CLI confirms it is login, but when

over 200 queues, anyone?
Hello list,
one of our clients is going to be deploying a system with over 200
differently composed queues and 100 agents. We are going to do a full test
of the viability of this solution before deployment, but I was wondering
if anyone has experience of such a setup and if there are any obvious
problems or no-nos.
Any suggestion welcomed,
l.

SetVar on sample.call
Hi all!!
Does anyone have a short example or even better - a working AGI script that uses "GET VARIABLE' from a /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing call that uses "SetVar"?
Here's what I've tried with no luck so far:
sample.call

WaitTime: 30

Asterisk Manager: equivalent of 'show channels'?
I'm interested in knowing if anyone else has worked around this issue:
I have an application that needs to check the status of the calls going
through Asterisk about every 5 seconds or so. I don't want to do
"asterisk -rx 'show channels verbose'" at the Linux command line 12
times per minute so I am looking at the AMI. I see that there isn't a
manager command

Asterisk Core Dump in app_queue - Anyone seen?
Anyone seen this? It ocurred on a 'reload app_queue.so' command.
Asterisk version is 1.2.9.1.
Tried again, but it was not immediately reproducable.

AGI script fails on IAX channels (from call file).
Hi Guys,
I have already tried this one on the developers list. I have not been
successful getting much back there and I have notified them that I will
post this on the users list instead. Hopefully somebody have tried
something similar and can help out.
I am developing AGI scripts on Asterisk and have run into some very
strange behaviour and I think this is a bug, but I am not completely
sure.

What's up with the Manager Interface?!?!
The Asterisk Manager Interface is driving me nuts.
Whoever wrote it should be drawn and quartered.
Sometimes the data comes back separated by \r\n, and sometimes it's separated by \n.
The whole thing is completely inconsistent, and trying to write any kind of API for it is -GHASTLY-
Doug.
