hey, when i run Counter-Strike : Source from steam using wine, it runs like it normally would on windows, then when it starts up, it shows me the css background, like when its loading the menu, then the screen goes black and the pointer (mouse) flickers.. any ideas?

I'm stuck with wine-0.9.19. Each release since then seems to run Steam okay, but then when Steam launches HL2, it fails to load at various points. Anyone else noticed this or know what's going on? If someone could make a suggestion for which debug level to enable that would be helpful. Thanks.

I didn't even have to use the option -dxlevel 81, it was already set to it when I looked under video settings in TF2. Are you used the command line ( -dxlevel 80 ) option to launch the game? This solved my problem of corrupt graphics and texts in game.

My problem: After some time playing WoW (about 1-2 minutes) the whole screen turns white. Everything else seems to work perfectly, I still have sound and I still can interact with my character. Hello gentlemen, I try to start Team Fortress 2, which shows the Valve splash screen in a little box in the middle of my screen (supposed to be fullscreen), and then the screen goes black for a second and it crashes afterwards.
