Adding patch to Centos Kernel - early build failure
...ig] Error 2
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.74263 (%prep)
RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.74263 (%prep)
Can anyone help with this? Or is there an easier way to apply the patch,
as I'm not wanting to change the config of the kernel in any way?
Thanks

Which box?
I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I'm not finding an answer
anywhere. Do I need a dedicated box to run asterisk, or can I put in my
server (running Fedora) and leverage some of the free cpu cycles and
disk space? Thanks,

confidence interval of a average...
...e, but how?
My other thinking was that I could derive the 0.975 (sqrt 0.95) CI for the
height. Then I could take the lower height 0.975 CI value and calculate
from that the lower 0.975 value from the lung capacity. And then do the same
for the taller people. That is bound to be wrong though.

Bandwidth
...ssuming I'm using a VOIP provider of some sort, what kind of bandwidth

asterisk?

Maildir Cleanup
Hi all,
I found an article (with python script) on how to
clean up Maildir folder
for old email messages from
http://www.ducea.com/2006/11/25/cleanup-maildir-folders-archive-delete-old-mails/
. As I understand, this will be run by each user
after login. How can I make this runs at least once a
month and
delete all users message with age more than one month
for example using crontab? I am using

Most dedicated users of RHEL and Centos, Scientific Linux too, want
stability which includes not changing everything every 6 months (? la
Fedora) or learning alternative methods of doing well mastered tasks (?
la Systemd - does the 'd' stand for dunce ?)
Good things quickly and easily attract supporters yet systemd lacks the
hordes of anxious and eager users demanding systemd replaces the
fundamentals of their smooth working computer systems.
Instead we have a few systemd-ers, avoiding the contentious absence of

[LLVMdev] Porting LLVM backend is no fun yet
...target code be generated. I guess a deeper understanding of Target
classes is mandatory before proceeding to use TableGen.
I guess what would help would be a tutorial that shows how one goes
about writing a back-end for a fictitious target machine - something
similar to "Porting GCC for Dunces" (http://ftp.axis.se/pub/users/hp/pgccfd/pgccfd.pdf
). Also a pre-made "Dummy" back-end that had some basic instructions
would also go a long way in helping someone write a back-end.

Trackmania NF 2.11.11 fails to start in Wine 1.1.28

Based on comments on AppDB tried copying the d3dx9_30.dll from Windows, but didn't know where to put it - most logical place seemed in with the Trackmania dlls end exe. Didn't make any difference.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Sipura 841. I have the phone config set to use g729. Its

...first RoR app, and
parts of rails (convention over config, built-in ORM and testing) I
immediately loved. But some stuff seems like it would be, well, [puts on

Anyways, apologies for being a dunce. Any guidance on how to best handle the
abstract base class question would be much appreciated.
