libFLAC JNA Issue
...to you (and us) to add this client_data return function in libFLAC ? Maybe some other developpers will have to use libFLAC with JNA, and continue to update the lib without having to patch it. Samba and AIX
I have Samba 1.9.18p4 running on AIX v4.1. It works fine using security = user and alias lists. I have installed Smaba 1.9.18p7 on AIX v4.2 and cannot get it to work at all with any level of security. The server is on NT and 95 browse lists but attempting to access any share receives "credentials already in use" ; incorrect password ; or locks explorer completely. Any suggestions?

/etc/lmhosts
Has anyone had any luck with lmhosts. I'm trying to avoid using the -I 192.168.1.10 to identify a Win95 machine when using smbmount Is there an option I need to set in Samba to tell it to use /etc/lmhosts? login reporting (utmp?) problem on Linux
I have recently compiled and installed openssh-2.1.1p1 on a linux box. The login reporting does not seem to work properly. When logging into the box via ssh (protocol 1) utmp shows the user logged in and the tty properly, but the field for the login date/time and the field for originating host contain all NULLs. Is anyone else seeing this same behavior, or have I just done something really

Printer banner always 'nobody'
I've had this problem as long as I've been using samba: every time anyone prints from a PC they get a banner page labeling them 'nobody.' Now, I realize this has to do with the guest account being 'nobody,' and the server is passing that name to the printer. It can get very frustrating, though, when lots of folks use the same printer and all of the jobs have the same name

can't enable selinux CentOS 6.5
Hey guys, For some reason I can't seem to enable SELinux on this one host. Here's my SELinux config file: [root at beta-new:~] #cat /etc/sysconfig/selinux # This file controls the state of SELinux on the system. # SELINUX= can take one of these three values: # enforcing - SELinux security policy is enforced. # permissive - SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing. #

[LLVMdev] ARM unwinding bug
...aying the dealership to fix your car. That's their job, to fix *your* car. If, on the other hand, you found a blueprint in a magazine, say "Popular Mechanics" to build a Demoiselle[1], and you procured the parts, built it on your barn, and the thing wouldn't fly, would you expect Dumont to fix it for you? For free? In open source, the only thing that works is effort. If you put the effort to learn the technology I care about, I'll put the effort to help you find the solution. I'd never find it for you, especially if you expect me to do it on my own. If you don't care...
