Silly question: Why multiple lines on SIP phones?
...mps straight to "busy" voice mail. I guess I could setup my dial plan to roll to the phone's line 2 but that seems like a mess. It's not needed with the cisco or polycom so it's possible, right? ...ering properly. Can place and recive calls as expected but when on the phone, a second call is immediately dumped to "busy" voicemail. Does this thing not support call-waiting? [PBX]: New message 1 in mailbox 1000
.... Got 2200 minutes of beep-beep-beep-...; the caller hungup before/as it went to voicemail. Any ideas on why the hangup wasn't detected? Where to start? Clarification on Fax capability?
...it possible to reliably send outboud faxes in the reverse direction? I understand the issues with fax over VoIP. Zapateller Answering?
...eems to me that Zapateller is answering. Is this right? I expected the "nocallerid" would make it not play the tones AND not answer if there was callerID with the call. Who is in control Voicetronix OR Asterisk
>From what i've read i think that asterisk is suppose to generate the dialtone. But when i pickup my analog phone it seems that the Openswitch12 card is the one playng the dialtone. Im almost positive the card is playing the dialtone, can anyone confirm this? And if so how can i change the dialtone?

...working. Got a few different SIP phones (cisco 7940's and SPA-841s) all with pickupgroup=0 in sip.conf. I can't seem to get it working. This *is* possible from SIP phones, right? Sixtel.net / IAX.CC - Vanity Toll-Free Number
How long does it take to get a vanity number? I signed up for an account, pre-paid some money, and then placed a vanity number order. I did all of that around Dec. 31st 2004. They said it would take 2-10 business days. It is now Feb. 15th and still no vanity number. I've called them about a dozen times and every time they tell me to keep calling the number to check it and just wait. I'm
