Draggable - how start action on start dragging and end action on droppping
Hi all. I have got situation that I made element draggable - and when element is dragged I want to start some action (e.g. shown AJAX indicator, and change one of CSS class in dragging element). What is the best way to achieve this? I search source code of the Draggable and I saw that there is 2 method: Draggable.initDrag and Draggable.endDrag so it looks like in initDrag method i should

[Bridge] Multicast: handling of STA disconnect
Hi Nikolay, I have some query on multicast. When streams running on an STA and STA disconnected due to some reason. So, until the MDB is timed out the stream will be forwarded to the port and in turn to the driver and dropps there as no such STA. So, is the multicast_eht handling this scenario to take any action immediately? If not, can we do this to take quick action to reduce overhead of memory and driver? I have an idea on this. Can we mark this port group (MDB entry) as INACTIVE from the WiFi disconnect event and...

sortable_element does not initiate AJAX calls
Having an odd problem with sortable_element. The :url option doesn;t seem to actually work. No AJAX calls are being generated. I can tell because Firebug extension does not show any AJAX requests, and the development.log file does not do anything when droppping the items in new positions. Here is the code I am using for sortable generation: <%= sortable_element

Public switches (AXE10) not capable of handling sustained call setup bursts on E100P
...ing a vacant public tax office :=) 3) Each channel will continue on its own with the same proceedure: ring for 20 sec, then hangup, ring for 20 sec, and so on. Of course this leads to massive signalling on the D-channel. Result: After one or two minutes, the number of acks from the public switch dropps sharply. At the end there are only messages in one direction (from asterisk to public switch), except for some RNR (Receiver Not Ready) message from public switch. This leads of course to T200 timeouts, which very soon hits 3, and the D-channe is reset (and all calls terminated). I can not see an...

need any advises for code optimization.
Dear colleagues, I have the following code. This code is to 'filter' the data set. It works on the data frame 'whole' with four numeric columns: a,b,d, and c. Every row in the data frame is considered as a point in 3-D space. Variables a,b, and d are the point's coordinates, and c is its value. This code looks at every point, builds a cube 'centered' at this

How to know if packet is dropped by kernel for udp checksum mismatch
...bfuscation process ends successfully but somehow packet is not reaching to the udp daemon. i'm suspecting this is happening because of a udp checksum mismatch. so i'm wondering how can i get logs of packets which are dropped because of udp checksum mismatch? i've heard linux by default dropps a packet if it does not have correct checksum if checksum is present, this behavior can be modified by recompiling the kernel. using a custom kernel is not in our agenda. my platform : Linux <hostname> 2.6.32-220.7.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Mar 7 00:52:02 GMT 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linu...

rsync speed
Hi all, I have a Windows server with rsync and cygwin, and I backup/restore files over ssh to a Linux server with rsync 2.6.8, over a 100Mbps LAN. I have tried an experiment with one 350MB file: Pushing the file from Windows to Linux over ssh takes around 15 min, with an average speed of ~400Kbps (using --progress). Pulling the same file using the same arguments takes around 45 mins, with an

Login Scripts
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Everybody, I would like to run a login script that maps out the different shares on a RH 6.1 server running SAMBA 2.06. I have several Win98 and NT workstation clients that log into an NT domain and use my server for file and print services. The Samba server is not part of the domain. The clients currently have access to a share common to us

[monorepo] Downstream branch zipping tool available
Building on the great work that James Knight did on migrate-downstream-fork.py (Thanks, James!) [1], I've created a simple tool to take migrated downstream fork branches and zip them into a single history given a history containing submodule updates of subprojects [2]. With migrate-downstream-fork.py, one is left with a set of unrelated histories, one per subproject: llvm
