Hello, I have Fedora Core 3 linux and Samba 3.0.14a on a server that has 2 ethernet interfaces connected to the same LAN. The purpose to have such a server with 2 network cards is to serve 2 network shares with high traffic. Has anyone come across a device that could cancel out the noise from servers, ie. the fan noise? I have a server rack near my office and would like to see if i can decrease the noise level. It would seem to me that the steady drone of the fans could be cancelled out to a large extent.

I need to move a Samba 2.2.1 server form a Windows 2000 Domain network that is currently running in Mixed mode with a domain name if "ABC" to a pure Windows 2000 Active Directory network with a domain of "ABC.net".
