Asterisk 1.4.4 reproducibly dumps core on Solaris 10
I have built Asterisk 1.4.4 on my Solaris 10 x86 box:
LDFLAGS='-R/usr/sfw/lib -R/opt/csw/lib -L/opt/csw/lib -L/usr/sfw/lib'
CPPFLAGS=-I/opt/csw/include ./configure -with-curl=/opt/csw
--without-oss --without-vpb --prefix=/opt/asterisk-1.4
The build and install go fine but the asterisk executable reproducibly
dumps core with a segmentation violation.
If I start it as: asterisk -gc and

chan_h323 problems....
I have had * installed for a couple of weeks now and am very impressed. I have got Zap, SIP and MGCP working and can call freely between them with just things like transfer still to sort out etc.
I then though I would add H.323 support to my working system, having read the previous threads on the subject before I installed I installed the pre-reqs

Several problems with ogg123
I'm having several problems with ogg123 on a FreeBSD-STABLE machine. In
each case, ogg123 dumps core complaining about a bus error.
1) ogg123 plays all files at what seems like twice the correct speed. When
given a SIGINT, ogg123 dumps core. This is using the program defaults,
including the OSS driver. Here's a backtrace from gdb:
Core was generated by `ogg123'.

Wine-linux-ppc32 working status and future enchantments
Hello there Wine community
Thank you for developing and maintaining this wonderful project
I have been using YellowDog Linux on my PPC32 box for a while now, I was thinking if the good old wine project could be ported/expanded to this platform as well.
After a minor change in the source code ( letoh16 > lendian16toh) it compiled successfully ( without the tests ).
It even managed to get

VM boots BUT keep throwing: "INIT: Id "X" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes"
Hi,
This is my setting:
I have a Logical Volume /dev/VG/suse with Suse installed. I have added
it to the grub and I can boot it and works perfectly fine.
Now I am running /dev/VG/root which is running Xen0. I have created a
Xen config file to boot a VM with disk: /dev/VG/suse. In other words I
want to boot
/dev/VG/suse as a virtual machine.
Below is what I am getting at boot time :

FREEBSD 7.1-STABLE crashes when trying to mount USB device of solaris UFS filesystem
Hi everybody,
today I met the following problems on my freebsd box. I had a USB stick
of opensolaris bootable USB image and tried to mount it on my fbsd box.
The first time, when I tried to mount the usb device, my system freezed
and then rebooted giving me one core in my dumpdev. When I tried to redo
the mounting, the kernel informed me that the filesystem needed to be
fsck'd before

Mongrel 1.1.4, possible bug http_response
Hi,
I found this while digging inside mongrel to provide IO streaming
for mongrel (and thus for Rack and Ramaze):
* In socket_error a local variable done is set, which has no effect.
* done=() always sets to true, where it (for completeness sake) should
honor the passed value.

You mean a LLVM library has a separate mailing-list? Why?

Dovecot 2.3.0 imap-login using 100% CPU
When in the process of testing out the 2.3.0 version of Dovecot, we noticed that on a busy server, imap-login can sometimes take 100% CPU and remain there indefinitely. We grabbed a gdb trace while it was happening:
