Hello, I''ve tried just some minutes ago to download the sourcecode of lustre from [1], but it failed with this error: An error occurred while processing your request. Reference #50.663007d9.1206002944.16ba5fe1 Does anybody have some hints how to get the lustre source code then? I need this tarball for the debian packaging. Samba and file locking
Are their issues with Samba and Lustre working together? I remember something about turning oplocks off in samba, and while testing samba I noticed this [2010/08/27 17:30:59, 3] lib/util.c:fcntl_getlock(2064) fcntl_getlock: lock request failed at offset 75694080 count 65536 type 1 (Function not implemented) But I also found out about the flock option for lustre. Interested in contributing to Lustre
Hi all, I am a grad student at Carnegie Mellon University. I had my course work in advanced storage systems in previous semester, and I am interested to work on Lustre. I prefer to take up a project that could be completed in a duration of a month or two. The weird thing is that if i mount the nfs export on another nfs server and run the same benchmark (bonnie) everything

write RPC & congestion
Hi, thanks for previous help. I have some question about Lustre RPC and the sequence of events that occur during large concurrent write() involving many processes and large data size per process. I understand there is a mechanism of flow control by credits, but I''m a little unclear on how it works in general after reading the "networking & io protocol" white paper. Is

1.6.4.1 - active client evicted
Hi! We''ve started to poke and prod at Lustre 1.6.4.1, and it seems to mostly work (we haven''t had it OOPS on us yet like the earlier 1.6-versions did). However, we had this weird incident where an active client (it was copying 4GB files and running ls at the time) got evicted by the MDS and all OST''s. After a while logs indicate that it did recover the connection
