Random effects ANOVA?
Hi all -- So I have a very simple dataset, which consists of 60 subjects, who watched one of three videos, drank one of two drinks, and completed a task. The response variable is the time to complete the task. The ANOVA command is simple enough: anova(aov(time ~ drink * video, data = df)); However, the videos were randomly selected; I need to use the random effects model for them. So I tried anova(aov(time ~ drink + Er...

As it is currently, in trunk, --failures and --examples except a text file, each line containing the name of a spec. I''m wondering: Would a a patch to use YAML (instead or as well as) plain text be welcomed? I''m thinking of a yaml file like the following: spec_file_1: file: spec/person_spec.rb specs: - should have first name - should provide email address

Interpretation of result in R
I am trying to do a quasipoisson regression to know if the frequency of drinking of my subject is related to temperature. The problem is that I'm not sure how to interpret my result. 1) Since my result is signifiant, can I tell that the frequency of drinking of my subject increase linearly or exponentially? 2) When I want to quantify the increase, do I need to do an exponential

Some people asked me lately about how professional Dovecot is.
...defeats, gotten a general would could fight and win a battle, General Grant. A fussy old lady approached President Lincoln and complained loudly that Grant was a drunk. Lincoln blinked at the woman, then said, "Ma'am, if you'll be so kind as to find out what kind of whiskey Grant drinks, I'll send a case of it to all the other generals." Dovecot Works. That's all anyone needs to know. metaflac problem on cygwin
ever since going from flac 1.1.2 to 1.1.4 on cygwin I've encountered an issue where I can't use metaflac on certain path specifications (see examples below). I tried again with 1.2.1 and it still doesn't work (I can't recall but I think it is from the cygwin dist, not the windows installed version) not sure if this is a flac issue, or a cygwin one, but thougt i'ld start here.

I hazard to submit, more people are turning to opensource as XP becomes obsolete.
