To Do list project?
I''m looking for a good web-based to do list app. Essentially, I''d like
to use Basecamp''s todo management system, but that''s not an option
since I can''t install Basecamp on a server I own. The information
being tracked in the list cannot be sent out of my intranet.
I would imagine that there are a couple of open source rails apps that

Random effects ANOVA?
Hi all --
So I have a very simple dataset, which consists of 60 subjects,
who watched one of three videos, drank one of two drinks, and
completed a task. The response variable is the time to complete the
task. The ANOVA command is simple enough: anova(aov(time ~ drink *
video, data = df));
However, the videos were randomly selected; I need to use the
random effects model for them. So I tried anova(aov...

AUTH PLAIN

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, probably a flag or two either in
confAUTH_OPTIONS or in DAEMON_OPTIONS, but couldn't dig out which.

The MULTISEARCH capability (RFC 6237) builds upon the ESEARCH capability to make it possible to search in another mailbox than the currently selected one. The command syntax you're using requires MULTISEARCH.

I am pretty sure that you are holding filter wrong, it expects you to process the entire mail, not just $1.

Great Find
...old man sat down and the woman, his wife, sat opposite him, and he began to divide the Coca Cola into two glasses, half for him and half for his wife. He divided all the French fries half-and-half. He gave half to his wife and kept half for himself. Then he began to eat and drink,and the woman just drank but didn't eat.
There was a young man who was standing next to the table and wondering why the old man had divided everything in half, and he thought that maybe they didn't have any money. He said to the old couple, "Okay, I can buy you one more portion; you don't have to share...

This is a test to see if the "from" line shows up as me instead the generic

Change Journals
...would you like to do this, or did you want me to? I wasn''t sure from
your RubyForge post.
Also, do folks think this should be bundled with win32-changenotify (as a
separate class) or should it be a different package altogether?

SIGINT in win32-process
...another console, try to send Process.kill(2,pid) using
win32-process. You will need to modify process_kill() in process.c slightly
to make sure case 2 is the ctrl_c handler.
Is what I''m trying to do even possible? Help wanted.

C extension question
...refactoring some of the win32_popen code, and I saw this a few
times:
rb_raise(...);
return Qnil;
Is there any way it will ever reach the return? Isn''t the rb_raise() going
to return? Or is there a good reason for this? Just curious.

rsync 2.5.7 link-dest seems broken
...i presume it is using some of
the existing content to optimize network usage. However the speed up is very
much lower than in the first two cases.
AFAICT rsync should use numeric id's only when requested, and the user and
group name combinations are identical on both sides.

supposed to mean. What is a class of metabin?
