yum updates
I am trying to update my cluster servers to a newer kernel. As the csgfs stuff is not updated for 2.6.9-34.0.2.EL yet, I have to use 2.6.9-34.0.1.EL. If I specify to update the cluster packages, yum will automatically find the proper kernel package to meet the dependency. The problem is that I also need the kernel-smp-devel package installed so that I can build a new AoE driver. It doesn't

Java Application on 64bit Windows
Hi, I am trying to develop a Java application with libvirt 0.5.1. I am trying this on Windows7 64bit. I downladed libvirt-0.5.1.jar and jna.jar files and added them to the Buildpath. Then I installed VirtViewer for windows 64 bit and copied dll files. In my application if i only use System.setProperty("jna.library.path", PATH_TO_DLL); then i see "UnsatisfiedLinkError: Unable to

Integrating a Raid Driver
It appears that CentOS is having problems with my hard disks, which I have off of an HPT 374 Raid controller but with no Raid stripes created, ie. I am just using it as an IDE controller. There is the latest Linux open source for the HPT 374 on Highpoint's web site, which I have downladed. While I understand 'make' and am a programmer myself, I understand nothing about the Linux

syslinux.efi pxeboot across multiple subnets
The setup I was using was in a chassis. Slot 8 of the chassis is the client machine. It goes through Switch 1 (a Brocade switch) to the top of rack (BNT). The mirror is in the chassis switch. Slot 3 of the same chassis is connected to the mirror port in Switch 1. client = 1/0/8 tcpdump = 1/0/3 to TOR = 1/0/43 1/0/8 mirrored both directions to 1/0/3 Unfortunately, I don't have access to the

syslinux.efi pxeboot across multiple subnets
I tried the patch from hpa directly on branch firmware and I get a different (non-working) behavior. syslinux.efi is correctly downloaded and my tftp server receive requests for ldlinux.e64 and acknowledge options, but receive no response at all. Actually, what happen is that before any packet is actually sent (and Transmit is called), GetModeData return a StationPort = 0. Leading to received

Hi Everyone, I am in a fix with an installation for a client where I need PHP version 4.3.10 or above (4.3.x, but not PHP 5). The application we are trying to run will not run on PHP 5. Samba 3.0 and Win2000 PoliciesHi,
Hi, I have Samba 3.0 and win2000 clients. I can join the domain with my machine and after a reboot I can log in as a domain user without problem. In fact I log in as the domain admin. Good! Then, I try to play with the policies and I launch the MMC snap in called "Active Directory Users and Computers" as described in the SAMBA HOWTO COLLECTION chapter 23.2.3.1. When I launch the snap in

syslinux.efi pxeboot across multiple subnets
I did change both instances of txdata->GatewayAddress, but I think something may be wrong in my toolchain. If I extract syslinux.zip and attempt to make from there (without modifying any files), the cached DHCP packet isn't read on the same subnet. I receive "Succeed to download NBP file." twice before anything from syslinux is loaded, so I believe the duplicate request for
