More than one auth method with dovevot 0.99.10.4 - how?
We're setting up a server with qmail/vpopmail and dovecot. In
addition to vpopmail users we want non-virtual, local users to be able
to authenticate and have them read the Maildir in their real $HOME.
vpopmail userdb/passwd works fine. Now how do I tell dovecot to use
passwd (or PAM) userdb/passdb authentication too?
/etc/dovecot.conf:

Hi,
I want to say hello and here is my big problem ;D
Iam trying to archive a Postfix/Dovecot 2.2.10 CentOS7 Multidomain Setup
with multiple (valid
StartSSL Certs), but iam only able to run a single Domain Cert server only.
ps: I need a multiple domainssetup for every customer and it is not an
option for me redirecting any email
to a single domain server. I really need this setup working.

Hi all,
I am currently facing an issue with Dovevot version 2.2.29.1 where
subfolders in a public namespace are only
visible to the 2nd folder level:
namespace Public -> folder "1st" -> folder -> "2nd" -> folder "3rd" ....
When one user creates a subfolder below the 2nd level other users do not

Maildirsize file isn't updated after doing POP
Hello,
I have a problem about updating Maildirsize file. It seems that the
Maildirsize file is not updated after user does POP mail from his maildir. I
do not want to use any quota limitation in Dovecot. I only want Dovevot to
update the Maildirsize file after user retrieves his mail. The Maildirsize
file is created by Postfix. Would it be possible to do like this? How can I
configure it? Could you please advice me?
The Dovecot version is 1.0.7.
Thank you very much,
Nitass

replication newbie: some beginner questions
At a customer we run dovecot-2.3.10 along with postfix and mariadb,
using postfixadmin as GUI.
Now I plan to migrate to a new hardware (bigger machine) and in the same
step to migrate from Gentoo Linux to Debian Linux.
So I think about how to get the mailboxes from A to B.
We use one UID afaik:
mail_home = /home/vmail/%d/%u
mail_location = maildir:~
I read about dsync and wonder:
