Hello everbody, doing a #find(:first,an_id) with Rails 1.1.0 I expected that find returns the record which id mathches the given parameter an_id or nil if it couldn''t be found. This behaviour is documented on api.rubyonrails.org. But the find returns the first available object and not nil if an_id is not in the db. Is the doc on rubyonrails.org out of sync? This is as doumented, and I think you could say the same thing of seq(). BTW, sequence() allows negative inputs, and I don't think you want sum(input) in that case. I've never seen the point of sequence(), but it has been around in R for a long time. It is used in packages eRm, extRemes, hydrosanity, klaR, seas. Who knows what people have in private code, so I don't see any

...g? This same user has another problem. Let's call the user jdoe. When he goes to the server and looks in his profile directory through windows explorer, "My Documents" shows as "jdoe's documents", yet when opens the folder, "jdoe's Document", "My Douments" shows up as the name in the address bar in explorer. When I look on the server itself, the folder shows as "My Documents". Any explanation for that?

When I paste the code into an R-window everything runs in a few seconds, but in Batch mode i get in the output file the result below. I load my dll with the dyn.load function, but when I call one of my Fortran procedures with the .Fortran instruction, an error message appears saying that my function is not in the load table.
