DTMF Talk off
Hello all, I have seen some chatter again about DTMF. I see most of the talk about DTMF around not being able to get an external IVR to recognize digits, not a big issue for me at this time but sill interesting. My issue though, is with talk off on a zap channel. It seems to be getting worse or maybe my patience is thinning. All my calls go out and come in pstn through an FXO as I do not

Just a rough extrapolation of the size of my filesystem (3.4TB used; ~95%) makes it look like this will take ~28 days to complete. I'm using approx 12M inodes out of my 243M available. -Doug -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Local vs. toll Dial Plan
...ignator. The problem is that the list is rather large. Maybe 50-100. The idea is that I can talor my local PSTN usage to only those exchanges that are non-toll for me. Other calls will go out ENUM to best way. So is there a way to do this without entering a dialplan for every exchange designator? Sending Emails via Cron
I''m developing an application using RoR that will generate enough email notifications that I don''t want them in the actual web application. So, I''m thinking about having an outgoing queue that a cron job would pick up and deliver. My question is if this is possible with a ruby script that uses ActiveRecord and ActiveMailer?

idmap weirdness - wildcard values being used instead of rfc2307 AD values
I've done a lot of research on this and haven't been able to solve the problem. Hopefully someone here has a better understanding of this than I do. The problem is that the UIDs and GIDs are not being fetched from AD. For example "getent passwd doug" returns: doug:*:70003:70005:Doug Meredith:/home/DSTRC/doug:/bin/false My full name has correctly been pulled from AD but the UID specified in AD is 20001 and the group is 10000. The values shown above are obviously coming from the wildcard idmap specified in my smb.conf, but I'm at a l...
