Patch application doubt
Hi,
Sorry, but I have the following doubt:
Is need apply the CVE-2017-7494 (Remote code execution from a writable
share) patch or this patch already was included in Debian repository, this
way I need only to execute apt-get upgrade?
In the case that I need to apply manually, how do I do it ?
I'm using Samba 4.6.3 on Debian 8.

Doubts
Hello sir,
I'm having some problems understading how llvm works. I'm following a concrete example and visualizing the DAG and the .s output and some stuff doesn´t seem to match.
I sorry to bother you but I don´t know where I can expose my doubts and I wonder if you could redirect me to some discussion place where someone might help me.
Thanks,

Stupid Little Doubt
I'm reading the samba-howto-collection and just got a doubt.
Even using mysql or ldap I still have to have one user for each
username I insert in pdbedit (smbpasswd/ldap/mysql/etc) ?
There's no way to automatize it just like the add user command to
add machines in the passwd?

Multiple Samba PDCs doubt
First, excuse me because I don't speak english very well (perhaps this
is the reason that I mess up something when reading the documentation).
I have read the Howto, some Examples and the book and I have some doubts
which I like to solve. Excuse me for the big post, too ;)
My starting point:
- 3 Debian Linux Samba Servers
- 1 Windows XP SP3 Professional
- 1 OpenLDAP Server (on another Debian

Basic doubts on the use of several script files in R batch mode
I already searched for information regarding the batch file operations
within R. But I could not locate the information I need.
Basically I have a doubt regarding the procedures on the batch use of
several script files (*.R).
How can I do this?
How can I define the order of files?
My intention is to programme openings, math operations and savings of
*.Rdata sessions, but in a sequential

choose one over the other for a new install of asterisk ?

Doubt regarding Feature selection for 'Learning to Rank' algorithms
Hi Rishabh,
I had this feeling before. This is a really nice idea BUT we can not go
ahead with the project which is still not tested in the experimental
settings. Though it may be a wonderful research exercise, I would still
vote to go for the state-of-the-art methods which are completely published
with full details and experimental results. Hope you get my point.

Parth.

Doubt regarding getAnalysisUsage
Hi,
I have a doubt regarding *getAnalysisUsage.* My assumption is that, as
analysis passes will not change the IR, all the passes required by an
analysis pass should be preserved. Say, I have an analysis pass which
requires another analysis pass called *SomeAnalysis* and I have not
added *AU.addPreserved<SomeAnalysis>()
*to my pass.
Would the pass manager still considers the *SomeAnlaysis

Doubts
Sorry, glad I'm in the right place.
Before I start, I want to state that I'm a beginer and I'm trying to
develop a backend by adapting an existent target to my platform.
My first doubt is about the SelectionDAG and the TargetLowering class.
When I use, for example:
setOperationAction(ISD::ADD, MVT::i1, Promote);
Is it correct to say that I'm promoting any operand used by the

[LLVMdev] Doubts about lowering of UMUL_LOHI
Hi,
When expanding multiply operation in LegalizeTypes LLVM generates some
nodes such as UMUL_LOHI (please refer file LegalizeIntegerTypes.cpp -
function - ExpandIntegerResult). However while lowering this operation
in LegalizeDAG (please refer file LegalizeDAG.cpp - function -
LegalizeOp) the comment says
"These nodes will only be produced by target-specific lowering.....".

[LLVMdev] Floating point comparison doubt
Hi,
In unordered floating point comparison before making a call for
comparison proper one node called UO_F32 is generated. In targets this
node is replaced with a call to __unordsf2.
My doubts here
1) What are these UO_F32 and O_F32 nodes for?
2) What is this function (__unordsf2) supposed to do?

[LLVMdev] doubts about Instruction Selection and Scheduling
Hello,
I'm working on the text of my Master's Thesis and I have some doubts:
1. What algorithm is used in Selection Instruction ? What is the input ?
2. Where is described how the variations of List Scheduling work, in
-pre-RA-sched phase ?

[LLVMdev] Doubt on phi nodes
Hi all,
I have a doubt on the usage of phi nodes in LLVM: if I define a value in
a bb, are phi nodes needed in the blocks that are dominated by the bb
where the value is defined?
As an example consider the following trivial example:
// BB0
A = 5;
if (condition) { // BB1
B = 2;
} else { // BB2
B = 1;
}
// BB3
is a phi node required for A in BB3?
