Dopt program!
Hi all,
Does anybody have a workable dopt program in R to generate D-optimal designs. I downloaded dopt.zip from stat homepage of the university of oxford, whenever I load it into R and try to run, the following error comes: Error: couldn't find function "Dopt".
Any information will be highly appreciated!
Thank you!

Dopt for Windows
Hi,
I would like to have some advise about how to install Dopt on R for Windows.
I can not manage to properly compile Dopt.f anf to get a suitable dll for R.
Can someone explain me step by step what should I do ?
Thanks in advance

OptFederov and Dopt.design
...the Rcmdr interface at time for ease, when using the Rcmdr
interface is used the same data file, formula and desired number of runs. I
also set the seed to that of the optFederov call above. I was expected the
same design to be generated. However, when I examine the balance of the
generated design, Dopt.design and optFederov yield different designs. Given
that Dopt.design is a DoE wrapper for optFerderov I am confused as to why
this is happening.

Windows binary of Dopt library
Dear R-helpers,
Would anybody have a compiled binary version (for Windows) of the Dopt
library that is in the development site?.
best regards,

[DebugInfo] RFC: Introduce LLVM DI Checker utility
...synthetic testing when there’s still so much low-hanging fruit to
pick using that technique. The example from
https://reviews.llvm.org/D81939 illustrates this perfectly: in this case
it’s not necessary to invent a new testing technique to uncover the bug,
because simply running `./bin/llvm-lit -Dopt="opt -debugify-each"
test/Transforms/DeadArgElim` finds the same issue.
As I mentioned in the previous mail, I do really think the debugify
technique is great & I use it. But, in order to detect that variable "x"
was optimized-out starting from pass Y, I only run the di-...

[DebugInfo] RFC: Introduce LLVM DI Checker utility
Hi,
I am sharing the proposal [0] which gives a brief introduction for the
implementation of the LLVM DI Checker utility. On a very high level, it
is a pair of LLVM (IR) Passes that check the preservation of the
original debug info in the optimizations. There are options controlling
the passes, that could be invoked from ``clang`` as well as from ``opt``
level.
By testing the utility on the

Debuggability of -O1 level

If you're interested in collecting statistics on which passes drop the most debug info, you could teach the debugify pass to log the number of dropped variables/locations per test, and run the test suite with `llvm-lit -Dopt="opt -enable-debugify"`. It would be really useful to have that information.

Debuggability of -O1 level
My experience is that just running mem2reg (while disabling virtually all
other passes ) in O1 will substantially improve debuggability while giving
acceptable performance.

Running R on a Local Area Network
A couple of months ago I downloaded R 1.6.0's binary for Windows, which I have
since been using without any particular problem, that is on one machine running
Windows 98.
Last week I set up a local network and have since tried to use R remotely, i.e.
R is installed on the previous machine and nowhere else. On the client's side,
the GUI opens correctly and allows me to do simple

Allowing clients to test their Sieve scripts
Hi,
One thing which came up repeatedly is that clients using the IMAP server I run (using Dovecot 2.1) wonder whether they broke their Sieve scripts, i.e. it often goes like "I don't know whether I just didn't receive any mail, or whether my filters broke. Can you check the logs?".
I then usually just run the sieve-test binary (part of the Pigeonhole distribution) and send them

Selective canreinvite in multi-tenant environment
Hello, all. In our multi-tenant environment, we would like to be able
to use the reinvite media redirection within Asterisk for calls within a
tenant but not between tenants. We would like inter-tenant calls to be
fully proxied by the Asterisk server. I think the answer is, "we
can't," but I thought I'd ask anyway.
I'd dearly like to remove the substantial traffic

Projects
I am teaching a graduate course on Statistical Computing this
semester. A major part of the grade is determined by a project in
which a student or small group of students produce, test, and document
some software for statistics. I will encourage those students who are
developing in S to package their software as an R package.
I would welcome suggestions of possible projects, especially projects
