Hiding SSH Host Banner Doesnt work
Im trying to hide the ability to show my host details from OpenSSH on
GNU/Linux Debian using this method:
Add the following line to /etc/ssh/sshd_config
DebianBanner no
And restart your SSH daemon: /etc/init.d/ssh restart or service ssh restart
This doent change anything.
Another question why user cant hide SSH info as well? why it needs to be
publicly visible? (I read that only recompiling would fix that but this
is pain in the neck)
ThX!

Permission denied on GPT.ini (Event ID 1058)
Ok, try this.
Gif the pc a uid and check again.
If it works then, its a share or security right.
Gpupdate /force works because at that point you "user"/user has a uid and gid.
The error occurs at start up because the COMPUTERNAME$ doent have access to that gpt.ini.
Resetting sysvol in that case doent help because the right on the gpt.ini is set by the group you assigned to the policy.
( so can be an inherrentance problem also )

me.
I am doing this on a Redhat 8.0 linux box...
the
<p>./configure
make
make install
the first one doent work, could you please guide me thru ob how to be able
to appreciate this tool.
I am involved in building up a radio station in a linux box whereby anyone
who would connect thru the network and whises to listen to this broadcasting
from the server where icecast is running he would input the IP...

R: Windows 2K roaming profiles
...to: [Samba] Windows 2K roaming profiles
Hi all,
I have a problem regarding profiles.
One of the users had a widows 2k machine which he is using for a long time. I have installed samba as the domain logon server with roaming profiles. The problem is when the user logs on to the server, since he doent have a profile yet on the server, a temporary profile is copied in the local machine when he logs on and sent to the server. I dont want this behaviour as he already have lots of settings on his machine.
Is there anyway to disable roaming profiles on windows2k so that it will logon to the server...

[LLVMdev] scalar-evolution + indvars fail to get the loop trip count?
...xitValue = ConstantInt::get(ExitVal);
2. In Line 1953, the switch-case computes the trip count due to different
Cond code.
But in this case, as it exits on true, the slt is converted to sge, not
switch-case for this condtion.
3. As the loop count is over 100, the Brute-Force algorithm also doent work
Can we improve this?
Thanks,
Sheng.

Using Samba AD for NFSV4 Kerberos servers and clients

Yes, the nfsv4 acls and system acl over kerberos doent match anymore.
This is a know problem and i dont know when it wil be fixed.
I use atm this for for the NFS Server.
# Test all sec variable.
/exports 192.168.0.0/24(rw,sync,fsid=0,no_subtree_check,crossmnt,sec=sys:krb5:krb5i:krb5p)

Using Samba AD for NFSV4 Kerberos servers and clients
Thanks Luc,
First, can I just use the small /etc/krb5.conf suggested in Samba AD
docs or do I need something more substantial on the server & client for
Kerberos NFS to work?
[libdefaults]
default_realm = SUBDOMAIN.DOMAIN.COM
dns_lookup_realm = false
dns_lookup_kdc = true
I understand a /etc/krb5.keytab file has to be created on both server &
client. Most

Permission denied on GPT.ini (Event ID 1058)
I hate 'me too' replies - but I have also been struggling with this for
some years in my multi-DC environment. (yes, replicated sysvol via lsyncd +
rsync; permissions looked identical via getfacl last time I checked).
Sometimes a client machine will run gpupdate just fine; other times it will
fail, seemingly randomly.
My next step was going to be to run wireshark on a client machine to
