[PATCH AUTOSEL 5.5 30/67] vhost: Check docket sk_family instead of call getname
From: Eugenio P?rez <eperezma at redhat.com>
[ Upstream commit 42d84c8490f9f0931786f1623191fcab397c3d64 ]
Doing so, we save one call to get data we already have in the struct.
Also, since there is no guarantee that getname use sockaddr_ll
parameter beyond its size, we add a little bit of security here.
It should do not do beyond MAX_ADDR_LEN, but syzbot found that

R, clinical trials and the FDA
...er/Offices/Biostatistics/Bell.pdf
In 2007, during an FDA committee meeting reviewing the safety profile of
Avandia (Rosiglitazone), the internal FDA meta-analysis performed by Joy
Mele, the FDA statistician, was done using R. A copy of this
presentation is available here:
http://www.fda.gov/ohrms/dockets/ac/07/slides/2007-4308s1-05-fda-mele.ppt
Given the high profile nature of drug safety issues today, that R was
used for this analysis by the FDA itself speaks volumes.
Also in 2007, at the annual R user meeting at Iowa State University, I
had the pleasure and privilege of Chairing a session on th...

Fwd: OpenSSL version 1.1.1 published - needed for TLS 1.3
If anyone here is thinking about supporting TLS 1.3, every indication is
that you will need openSSL 1.1.1.
Fedora 29 pre-beta is still one 1.1.1-pre9, I hope to see 1.1.1 release
soonish.? Hopefully Redhat will be backporting support in RHEL7 so we
will have it in C7.? Part of the challenge is that there is an API
change from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1.? Got to love it...
Further complication is no FIPS

4.7 update issues?
Greets,
Thank you to all the CentOS team and supporters.
:-)
Just wondering though...
Any 4.7 update issues or horror stories yet?
Also, anyone that has upstream support and previously updated, any issues
for Internet facing, or other, production machines ?

"R is not a validated software package.."
Dear All,
discussing with a statistician of a pharmaceutical company I received
this answer about the statistical package that I have planned to use:
As R is not a validated software package, we would like to ask if it
would rather be possible for you to use SAS, SPSS or another approved
statistical software system.
Could someone suggest me a 'polite' answer?
TIA
Giovanni

Does Huawei break the license of CentOS?
Hello, Peter, thanks for your reply
1. Huawei DOES change the distribution EULA, if type in the following command:
vi /usr/share/eula/eula.en_US
you can see it changed to "HUAWEI EulerOS-2.0"
which is a copyright one, let alone original GPL license.
According to CentOS Linux EULA
The Distribution is released as GPLv2. Individual packages in the
distribution come with their own

Puppet Best Practice
Hello everyone,
A long time ago, I posted the Stanford Best Practices and I''ve gone through
and updated it today. I''d like to have people go through it and see if we
can strip out some Stanford specific stuff and tag this as an official best
practice. I think an official best practice will be important as more and
more people consider making shareable modules, etc (mostly
