Newbie with questions
I have an existing Meridian PBX system that I am looking at replacing with Asterisk for the multi-office features. One of the many areas that I am unclear on is if we can use the existing phones from the old PBX system? Some are Meridian M7310 and some are Norstar M7208 models.
They each support multiple lines with a multi-line display, but I haven't seen anything on this list about sporting

mount smb auto-reconnect?
Is it me or does "mount -t smb" not auto-reconnect?
Can anyone comment on that, maybe there is an option I overlooked.

multiple locations
I have a scenario that I just can't seem to determine the best way to deal with.
We would like to have our PRI lines moved to our datacenter with Asterisk directing calls between our 4 small offices. Internet connections at the small offices are high-speed, but *may* go down on a rare occasion.
Having the main voice menus at the datacenter makes sense, its the voicemail and locals that are

Pardon my ignorance, but I was hoping someone could clear up something for
me.
- For a few POTS lines, digium has a single port card for that, or a T1 card
to a channel bank.
- For 10 or more lines, digium has a T1 or E1 card for that too based on PRI
channels
- For 100's to 1000's of lines, I suspect a soft-switch is in order???
