Calculate the angles for a point dataset?
Dear Rusers, I'd like to take the cases of cancer of the larynx in chorley(spatstat) to explain my question. I want to join the points of cancer of the larynx with the disused industrial incinerator to generate lines, and then calculate the angles of these line comparing the horizontal line? How can i get it? It seems to be difficult to get the angles Thanks a lot. -- With Kind Regards, oooO::::::::: (..)::::::::: :\.(:::Oooo:: ::\_)::(..):: :::::::)./::: ::::::...

favorite cheap VPS services
Hey all, I'm trying to learn how to use some of the big data stores. Specifically I want to learn how to use CassandraDB and Hadoop. Originally I'd had the idea of trying to setup a cassandra ring on the Amazon AWS free tier. However it seems that neither will run on a t2.micro instance. So I was wondering.. what are some really cheap VPS services that you like to use for one off

I don't know where to start on this one. It could be a funny router setup at the ISp's end or maybe the port (previously disused) on this board is really flaky (but then why does pinging help?). ...One can always write a script to automatically search for and report pending expirations. There is no real need for accounts to actually expire. But, even if accounts do expire for active users then it is not much of a hardship to report the fact and to have them reactivated. On the other hand, disused accounts never get reported and remain deactivated. Also, when a person leaves our employ and somehow the cancellation of all or some their accounts gets overlooked in the out-processing then shortly their accounts will be deactivated automatically. [LLVMdev] summer of code idea — checking bounds overflow bugs
Hi, Some days ago I am interested in detecting undefined behaviors in C programs based on Clang. After several days’ investigation, I think checking bounds overflow bugs is more interesting, because bounds overflow is one of the most frequently encountered errors in C programs. For example, performing pointer arithmetic without checking bounds can cause bounds overflow. To increase the

SEmodule dependency hell.
I want you all to see what I went through trying to simply reassign (unsuccessfully) the context of a well-known port. To the best of my ability to recall none of the packages mentioned below are even installed on the host in question. Why are these dependices preventing me from removing a disused SELinux policy. I have done exactly that, reassign port contexts, in the past without encountering this situation. So it has to be a recent development. I am not against SELinux. We use it extensively. But this is not security it is simply BS. It is stuff like this that causes people to say...

Bug#561995: mkdir: cannot create directory `/var/lock/logcheck': Permission denied
Package: logcheck Version: 1.3.4 Severity: normal I am running debian/testing and just upgraded to logcheck 1.3.4 and it started reporting the error: mkdir: cannot create directory `/var/lock/logcheck': Permission denied I created the directory and chown'd it to logcheck and it seems fine now. Looking at the changelog, I see something was purposefully changed, so I imagine I
