How to sum only a few elements in a line
Hello,
I have a matrix with the numbers 0,1 and 9
I would like to write a function that could sum each line skiping everytime
a number 9 appears
for example
[0 1 0 1 1 9 1]
the sum would be 4.
However I cannot replace 9 by 0 otherwise after the sum is done I wouldn?t
be able to distiguish which ones were real zeros and which ones were nines
replaced by zero just to sum.
Thank you very much

Unique ID for conditions to supress/rethrow selected conditions?
...rty packages can throw (out of scope here).
Is there any reliable way to identify each possible condition of base R?
Are there plans to implement such an identifier ("errno")?
PS: Things that do not work good enough IMHO:
1. Just use the condition classes (not really unique to distiguish between each and every condition))
2. Try to match the condition text
(it depends on the active language setting in R which cannot be switched "on the fly" on each platform
and wordings or translations may even change in the future)

register => to let Asterisk register to another softswitch via SIP
Dear Alex;
Thanks alot for your nice help.
This is if I need to let Asterisk register with
another softswitch (so I used register =>), what if I
need asterisk to send call for the softswitch without
register to it (directly)? If I removed the register
=> then how it will distiguish the IP address in the
"host" at the [sip_trunk] is the IP address of the
softswitch that need to register with it and not the
IP address of the original caller sip endpoint?
Your help is highly appreciated.
Regards
Bilal
The same way you do it with IAX2, pretty much.

Help with Clustering Techniques in R
Greetings RListers,
I have a data set containing two types of outcomes; success and failure.
Associated with each outcome are 12 different measurements. I'm trying
to find out, for example, if some of the 12 measures are associated more
with success or failure or, if there's any relationship at all between
the measures and the outcomes (success or failure).
I don't have (as yet)

Unless I am missing something here, I suppose the
answer is that
