Login with a NT 4.0 PDC
Hi all,
I want to make a Samba Sever as amember of a Domain, using a Windows
NT 4.0 as PDC. I have my smb.conf configured to do this, but users
ca't connect on Samba useing the Windows NT account. Is it possible or
I have to create them on a smbpasswd to make them login on it? I have
a Samba Server 3.0.7 running under a Slackware Linux 10.0, with Kernel

I'm sending my smb.conf

User's smbd processes don't get killed
Hi, all.
Last saturday, we've done a cutover for Samba 2.0.5a to be our new
fileserver. All is going well, except for two network users that make me
reboot the server.
What happens is as follows:
* user logs on onto samba server;
* user opens and closes files, etc, OK until in one of these
operations his/her machine hangs;
* user reboots his/her machine to log on again. In this

SIP RTP Tunnel
Hello,
is it possible to rout ALL RTP Data over Asterisk, like
SIP1 <---RTP---> Asterisk <---RTP---> SIP2
I know it seems quite useless. But I want to simulate a IAX -> SIP connection and have no Phonecard installed on my computer ;)
Thanx,
Kalle

transforming data glm
...ot is corrected well by using:
model<-glm(log(timetoacceptsecs)~maleage*maletub*relweight*malemobtrue*femmobtrue))
Boxcox of my model also suggests that the log transformation is what i should do.
I ask how i am able to do this by changing the link function or error family of my glm and not diretly taking the log of the response variable.
For instance:
model<-glm(log(timetoacceptsecs)~maleage*maletub*relweight*malemobtrue*femmobtrue, family=poisson))
does not improve my model in terms of overdispersion etc as much as taking the log.
Thank you

Macromedia FreeHand MX on Wine, doesn't create new document
Hello.
I have installed Macromedia FreeHand MX under Wine 1.1.1 on Arch Linux.
It installs OK, but I can't create a new document.
When I go on File => New it gives an error ("Could not complete your
request because an error occurred") and then Wine dies with a
segmentation fault.
Final words from Wine before dying:

Some questions about PCI-passthrough for HVM(Non-IOMMU)
Hello,
I saw some patches about PCI-passthrough for HVM(non-IOMMU) and I
am interested in it. I want to assign my graphics card(nVidia GeForce
7900GS) to an HVM domain (Vista) in order to run 3D-intensive work(for
example, 3D-games).
What I want to ask is that is it really possible to pass the
graphics card to HVM domain running Vista now? That is, have anyone ever

Re: Open File in MSOFFICE winword 2007 Causes Crash
I got the same problem: any MSOffice application crashes when the file dialog window is started (in any case: open file, save as, etc.).
I have turnned on WINEDEBUG=warn+all and i got almost the same.
Also, I'm using a PT-BR office version and I also got this message:

[LLVMdev] how to code a loop in llvm assembly
Using an alloca'd variable with loads and stores would work well
too. To date this
is how every llvm language front end works. You would want to avoid
malloc for
such a purpose generally. mem2reg is nice enough to take your local
load
and stores and promote them to registers with PHINodes :-)
