Interrupt storm with shared interrupt on digi(4)
I have an on-going problem with DigiBoard Xem boards causing interrupt storms (since 4.x days). The FreeBSD driver polls the board and doesn't have a functional interrupt handler (and Linux behaves in the same way). It seems that under some conditions, the board will assert its interrupt line and, since there's no interrupt...

Digi QuadMicro ISDN adapter with asterisk?
Hi all, Has anybody used this card (Digi QuadMicro) with asterisk or can anybody tell me the likelyhood of it working out OK? I need a multiport BRI adapter for use with asterisk in Japan and this card seems to support INS64 (Japanese BRI standard) and also CAPI 2.0. here is a link to the datasheet: http://www.digi.com/pdf/prd_mca_da...

handling mac addresses and guid''s
Hi, I like Xen''s feature of autogenerating those values if they are not supplied in a config file, but for sake of persistency I want to inherit the once-generated values and reuse them after the first creation of a domU. I found it possible to query the values at runtime using xm list --long but I''m not sure I''m going the most elegant route with that, it would mean

Two ISDN cards on same machine
Hi everybody, I have a Asterisk installation working with a Digi card (HFC-S PCI A ISDN card) and another Asterisk installation with a Digium (Digium Wildcard TE110P T1/E1 Card). For Digium I used zaptel drivers but Digi works with bristuff drivers. Both installations work fine and are connected to two different phone lines. What I want to do is let calls incom...

Digi Acceleport Xem
I am new to CentOS and have installed the dgap rpm for the mentioned 16 port board. I turned on in Services dgap. However, when I reboot the system the ttys disappear. Could it be that the udev rpm is not installed? When I run the mpi install and load program, everything works. But a reboot deletes it all! Help!

...;non-routable LAN," but that segment's connectivity is an interesting question in itself. I like having access to management consoles via VPN, but others dislike any off-LAN access whatsoever. If your admins are comfortable with serial consoles, a concentrator like those available from Digi or WTI can offer fairly robust access controls; they can also be set to honor SSH keys rather than passwords, which may help increase security. WTI: https://www.wti.com/c-4-console-server.aspx Digi: http://www.digi.com/products/consoleservers/ I've had an easier time working with the Digi...

Digiboard looking for driver developers for FreeBSD
I don't work for Digi, so this probably can't count as completely official, but I have it on good authority that Digi would like to have FreeBSD drivers for some of their multi-port serial interfaces, and that they are willing to provide the equipment in exchange for drivers. They already have Linux drivers, but wo...

IPMI/BMC/BIOS
We have recently been asked to evaluate some computing machinery for a new project. This particular end user has very limited experience with the stated security requirements in a lights-out environment. Their primary work (as well as mine) in the past has been with very small, simple networks of desktop machines and a few servers with extremely limited access.? For the most part, their admins

Re: Error: Migration not permitted with assigned PCIdevice
We use Digi Serial-over-IP devices to pass through serial ports to domUs. We''ve had success with the Digi One SP, PortServer TS, and Passport devices. I currently use the Passport 48 for IP access to all of my serial consoles (Ethernet switches, RAID arrays, FC switches, etc.) as well as to pass thr...

TE110P + PRI incoming + outgoing extensions question
I just got a TE110P up on an XO PRI - everything looks good so far. We've been given a block of 23 numbers for the PRI. If I explictly set the incoming extension in extensions.conf like: exten => 1153,1,Answer or: exten => _XXXX,1,Answer I can get the incoming call. If I try and do: exten => s,1,Answer I'll see something like this: -- Extension '1153' in context

removing specified length of text after a period in dataframe of char's
...m trying to remove some text after the period (a decimal point) in the data frame 'hi', below. This is one step in formatting a table. So I would like e.g. "2.0" to become "2" and "5.3" to be "5.3", where the variable digordered contains the number of digits after the decimal that I would like to display, in the same order in which the variables appear in hi. If it makes it easier to use, this info is also contained in the dataframe nam2. The reason the numbers are recorded as characters is because I used format to get a thousand separator, which I a...

Question about DID
Hello Group I have a Asterisk server running with 2 Digium T1 cards installed. 1 card connects to Telco via a PRI. The 2nd card is connected to a fax server via Digi DataFire RAS 24 PT1 Adapter (Digi0001). The idea is to have Asterisk route the calls based on DID or FAX tones. Everything is working great so far. The only problem is the Fax server does no...
