how can I stress a server?
Hi all,
I have a server, with an Intel DG35EC motherboard, Q9300 CPU, 8GB
Kingston DDRII RAM which can't take a lot of load. I have 4 XEN VPS's
on there, which doesn't consume more than 4GBM RAM at this stage. Yet,
the machine sky rockets at some times. I've moved the XEN VPS's to

Xen boots to blank screen
...s problem, but I do not see a clear course of action for how
to solve it. I am relatively new to Linux, compounding my problem. I just
built a new machine for the express purpose of running Xen so my girlfriend
and I could experiment and learn about different Linux distros. I am running
on an Intel DG35EC motherboard using integrated graphics and a Core 2 Duo
E8400. I do not have a dedicated video card.
I installed openSUSE-11.1-DVD-i586.iso which I had burned to DVD. I chose to
add Xen during installation. I have not installed any upates of anything
from the web since installation.

Vectorworks 2010 almost working
Hi all!
I'm trying to get the cadprogram Vectorworks 2010 (VW) run with Wine. So far I have succeed in getting the program installed and to start up with a plain Wine installation in PClinuxOS 2010. To get the toolboxes and everything look normal I had to install GDI+ (gdiplus) via Winetricks.
However the drawing area is still messed up after this even if the toolboxes look fine. On one
