Dovecot LDA + Fedora destribution = no go?
Anyone know of a way to get the LDA to work on the fedora distribution available on yum? I'm a big fan of the whole yum-auto-updating thing but if this isn't possible, I'll go tarball. -Charlie

Testing Normal Distributions
Hi, I would like to know if there is an algorithm in R for testing if a data set as a normal destribution. Thank you for your time, Pedro Marques

folded normal distribution in R
Dear R useRs, i wanted to ask if the folded normal destribution (Y = abs(X) with X normal distributed) with density and random number generator is implemented in R or in any R-related package so far? Maybe i can use the non-central chi-square distribution and rchisq(n, df=1, ncp>0) here? Thanks and best regards Andreas

AW: estimating number of clusters ("Null or more")
...y mclust decides about an optimal number of mixture > components using the BIC. It is not clear for me whether one could use BIC without a statement about the familiy of distribution. Indeed BIC is based on likelihood, and what the likelihood should be if the only adequate statement about the destribution is the ECDF itself?.. > As far as I know, there is no direct answer to the problem of testing > homogeneity vs. clustering in R. Doc: How to use NPIV in libvirt
...'s because of libvirt has two backends for node device driver: udev and HAL. We prefer the udev backend more than HAL backend in internal implementation, I think there is good enough reason to do so (HAL is maintenance mode now). I believe udev backend is used more than HAL backend, but if your destribution packager build libvirt without udev backend, don't be surprised with the node device names like the ones in [1]. 2) How to create a vHBA Pick up one HBA which supports vHBA, use it's "node device name" as the "parent" of vHBA, and specify the "wwnn" and...

Doc v2: How to use NPIV in libvirt
...ecause libvirt supports two backends for the node device driver ("udev" and "HAL"), but they lead to completely different naming styles. The udev backend is preferred over the HAL backend since HAL support is in maintenance mode. The udev backend is more common; however, if your destribution packager built the libvirt binaries without the udev backend, then the more complicated names such as "pci_10df_fe00_scsi_host_0" must be used. 7.2) Creation of a vHBA using the node device driver prior to 0.9.10 For libvirt prior to 0.9.10, you will need to specify the "wwnn&qu...
