bind glusterd to specified interface
Hi,
after a bit of time I play around with glusterfs again.
For now I want to bind the glusterd to an specified interface/ip adress.
I want to have a management net, where the service doesn't reachable
and an cluster net where the service is working on.
I read something about to define it in the
/etc/glusterfs/glusterfsd.vol file but found no valid desciption of it.

XML file format for snapshot-create
I've created a very basic snapshot XML file, to allow for a description of
the snapshot. However when running the virsh command, it doesn't like the
formatting.
# virsh snapshot-create proxy_0 /vmstore/proxy_0/proxy_0_ss.xml
error: XML description for failed to parse snapshot xml document is not well
formed or invalid
This are the XML file contents...
# cat proxy_0_ss.xml

[RFC] Tensilica Xtensa (ESP32) backend
Hello,
I'm from Espressif Systems company, software department. Our company
develops processors based on Xtensa architecture like ESP32 and ESP8266.
We propose the integration of a backend targeting Xtensa architecture.
We started to develop LLVM Xtensa backend almost a year ago. The reason
was that we saw a demand from our large developers community. Currently
only GNU compiler supports

Logic with regexps
...ex1,X)
ix2<- grep(rex2,X)
X[ix1[!(ix1 %in% ix2)]]
## [1] "abcdefg" "abcpqrs"
Question: is there a way to construct 'rex' from 'rex1' and 'rex2'
such that
X[grep(rex,X)]
would given the same result?
I've not managed to find anything helpful in desciptions of
regular expression syntax, though one feels it should be possible
if this is capable of supporting a logically complete language!
With thanks,
Ted.

namespaces...
Hi,
I am new to dovecot and I am a bit confused with how namespaces/prefixes/separators are handled by the clients and dovecot...
I tried to understand the desciption from the conf file but without success.
With each conf I create the following path /f1/f2 on the client (thunderbird) and get the following on the dovecot server:
PREFIX= and separator=/ => .INBOX.f1.f2 + .INBOXTrash

MEMX improvements + DDR 2/3 MR generation
Patch 1 and 2 implement wait-for-vblank, required to remove flicker when reclocking memory
Patch 3 and 4 allow me to do things between waiting for VBLANK and disabling FB, like pause PFIFO and wait for the engines to idle. This minimises the time PFIFO is paused, thus maximises performance.
The rest of the patches speak for themselves. As the actual memory reclocking script is still somewhat prone

[RFC] Tensilica Xtensa (ESP32) backend
Hello, James,
Thank you very much for your advices! The next step in compiler
development on Espressif is object file generation. There are no
essential problems with this step, it will be implemented in nearest
future. Currently Xtensa backend is able to print and parse assembly, I
used about 1300 tests from gcc torture testsuite and GNU binutils to
debug assembly output and now all tests

Checking the Compiled R
Hi,
Maybe someone can assist me with this question about checking the compiled
R code. I'm very much a novice in this arena, so forgive me if my use of
terms & desciptions are inaccurate or skewed :) My concern regards being
able to run a 'make check' on R after running the 'make install'. My
understanding is that the 'make check' checks the setup & configuration in
the location I downloaded it, but there is no 'make check' I can r...

Samba 3.0.1 -> 3.0.2 upgrade problem
Hello!
This morning I tried to upgrade Samba from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 final on our 3
servers and users were not able to login. All servers run RedHat 7.3, we
use LDAP as backend. Two servers work as PDC (each in different VLAN), one
server is BDC. I had only few minutes to test it from Windows XP clients
(we use Windows 98, 2000 and XP clients in our company) because we have
hundreds of users

[PATCH RFC v3 0/6] x86/idle: add halt poll support
From: Yang Zhang <yang.zhang.wz at gmail.com>
Some latency-intensive workload have seen obviously performance
drop when running inside VM. The main reason is that the overhead
is amplified when running inside VM. The most cost I have seen is
inside idle path.
This patch introduces a new mechanism to poll for a while before
entering idle state. If schedule is needed during poll, then we

smbmount problems when mounted share goes offline.
(using samba-2.0.7 on Debian Linux 2.2.15)
Hi,
I'm wondering how do I get around the problem when you smbmount a share on
a win32 machine and that machine reboots, the mount becomes a blackhole. If
you attempt an 'ls', 'df' or anything that would access that mount point the
program then goes into a state of void and cannot be killed, leaving the
proc open until reboot
