The WinXP/Win2K machines all have static IP addresses. The Windows clients are configured to look up the Samba PDC machine for both DNS and WINS. The Windows clients seem to be able to find other machines as well as the PDC:

Rsync stalls
I am trying to rsync a machine running CYGWIN_NT-5.2 server 1.5.24(0.156/4/2) to another which runs FreeBSD 6.2-STABLE; both with rsync 2.6.9. I'm trying to "pull" the files from the Cygwin machine with: /usr/local/bin/rsync -avz --delete --delete-excluded -e "ssh" [user]@[host]:"/cygdrive/e/Shared" /home/[host] However, rsync stalls. This seems to be

CentOS 7 box. As there's no package in any of the repos, we're trying to install scikit-learn in the user's space. It refuses. My late try was, after d/l a .whl from last year, hoping that would work with the numpy package in the regular repos, I did a pip install --user scikit-learn..., and it still seems to want to write to system space: OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied:
